The CIA report concluding that Covid most likely originated from a laboratory leak of a man-made, or man-enhanced, virus raises an awkward and glaring question: why on Earth isn’t Britain’s own Covid inquiry even considering the possibility of a laboratory leak?
The inquiry, which still grinds on even if most people have lost interest in it, has examined the inner workings of Downing Street in great detail, listened to evidence on lockdowns, the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme and so on, yet continues to ignore the single most important matter: where the virus came from.
When Michael Gove – now editor of The Spectator – did try to raise the matter before the inquiry in November 2023, he was quickly closed down by the KC interrogating him.
There remains a remarkable reluctance among the UK scientific establishment even to countenance the theory. On the day Gove appeared at the inquiry, the Science Media Centre – a charity which is supposed to offer unbiased information to the press – rushed out a statement from two scientists casting scepticism on the lab leak theory.
Anyone who continues to dismiss the possibility, or likelihood, that Covid came from a lab is now at odds with the CIA, and FBI director Christopher Wray. They are dismissing a pile of evidence put together by Matt Ridley and others.
They are also at odds with a lot of circumstantial evidence; the natural emergence theory relies on the virus having been spread by animals over a thousand miles until it just happened to mutate in a city which had a laboratory carrying out gain-of-function research with viruses. A lab leak, on the other hand, would hardly have been unprecedented; the original Sars virus is known to have escaped from Chinese laboratories on at least two occasions...

How could anyone seriously doubt that the bio-engineered virus came from the bio-engineering lab?
I’ve seen very little discussion of this, but I believe one factor is spillover from the creation/evolution debate. In my experience the vast majority of evolutionists are adamant that “you are not allowed to think those thoughts” when it comes to considering intelligence as a source for biological phenomena. Rather than work with intelligent design (ID) theorists to refine tests to distinguish between natural and intelligent sources for natural phenomena, they’ve just shrieked that all such tests are irrational and antiscience and tried to shut the debate down. The origin of COVID is thus an extremely unsettling topic for a community steeped in such aversion to non-natural causes.

The CIA assessment is of low confidence, meaning that it is barely more than a speculation that could be true but probably isn’t. I seriously doubt that any CIA scientists came up with this assessment. It was probably some humanities or sociology major who came up with this.
Of course, scientists have worked very hard to determine where this virus came from. Their assessment is far more solid than that of an intelligence agency, since they were actually picking up samples, analyzing the pattern of disease spread, analyzing virus sequences and matching them to sequences of viruses found in bats of the region, etc.
Evidence: the epicenter (that is, where the first human cases came from) was at the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market. This evidence came from the fact that the majority of the early cases were associated with the market and that environmental samples taken from around the market contained virus.
Evidence: bats of the region carry coronaviruses which are highly similar to SARS-CoV-2. This is determined by sequencing the viruses and comparing their sequences.
Highly likely scenario: An animal or animals raised at one of the area farms was exposed to the virus through bat droppings or something else that had been in contact with an infected bat. The infected animal(s) was taken to the Huanan market for sale, and people caught the virus from it. This scenario is highly likely because this is, in fact, how a lot of zoonotic diseases from wild animals enter humans through a domestic intermediary.
There is really no reason to jump into conspiracy theories, even if some CIA analyst was impressed by those theories and wrote an analysis based on them. Conspiracy theories have remarkably little hard evidence to support them and, furthermore, are often physically impossible.

The Pandemic numbers were all forged, there was a lot of Sars going around but most of it was forged and misdiagnosed for profit by nurses and doctor s being forced to play along.

Do you not think it is an incredible coincidence that a global pandemic had its epicentre in a city that just happens to have the world’s largest virology research labs, located in a country that is notorious for going to any length to save face and happens to fund an awful lot of these virologists who trot out the wet market narrative?
Lot of people would have egg on their faces if they had to admit the CIA was right.
The same reason British Intelligence was involved in the Russia dossier scandal.
They are connected to EcoHealth, and it would be embarrassing for the intelligence services to admit it. Further, somebody there probably profited from the death of millions, and money can be traced.

What the American people need to know, is that 5-eyes often acts together. If the intelligence services in the US are corrupted/compromised by politically motivated individuals (think CIA, FBI, Homeland), then the free world intelligence services join in. It has proven incredibly dangerous already, and nobody is talking about it. Obama did deep damage. Some of that damage has corrupted other nations, who now participate in manipulation of US elections.
Your going to have to hang government employees who are political operatives and not doing the peoples work with the peoples resources. We have to set an example soon. Innocent Millions have already died, millions or billions will follow. This is FAR more likely to destroy the planet and climate than CO2.
