Liz Cheney, Take Note: Republicans Just Formed a New J6 Subcommittee, and There's an Interesting Twist

Liz Cheney's pardon from former President Joe Biden might be keeping her warm at night as she wanders the frozen political wasteland of her own making, but she might not want to get too comfortable with her current situation.

On Wednesday, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) announced the formation of a new J6 subcommittee that will be tasked with continuing the investigation into "all events leading up to and after January 6." This new committee replaces the Committee on House Administration's Subcommittee on Oversight, and will once again be chaired by Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA). Here's the interesting twist: it will now fall under the purview of the House Judiciary Committee and its chairman, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH).

In announcing the formation of the Select Subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee, Speaker Johnson said:

“House Republicans are proud of our work so far in exposing the false narratives peddled by the politically motivated January 6 Select Committee during the 117th Congress, but there is still more work to be done. We are establishing this Select Subcommittee to continue our efforts to uncover the full truth that is owed to the American people. The composition and other details regarding the Select Subcommittee will be announced soon.”

RedState's Bob Hoge reported in December on the findings by Loudermilk and the old committee, noting it had "concluded that A) the events were preventable and B) Cheney may have criminally tampered with a witness during the inquiry."

It seems a significant shift to move the J6 subcommittee from the House Committee on Oversight and Reform to the House Judiciary Committee, and is likely a direct result of Biden pardoning all those involved with the nefarious J6 Committee. There are a lot of Americans who would like to see true justice exacted here, using all judicial means possible, and this could be a significant step in making that happen.

After Biden presented Liz Cheney with the Presidential Citizens Award—the second highest honor that can be bestowed on a civilian—earlier in January, an incensed Speaker Johnson took to X to confirm the House would be fully funding the investigation to uncover the truth: SNIP

Good, they did this without delay. Now don’t back down.

Good, they did this without delay.

But they need to find their conclusions inside a year, these things drag on way too long. They need to get to work.

I hope they also investigate the torture conditions at the DC Jail.

If Cheney or others committed local or state crimes the pardons will not save them.

Best case scenario: criminal referrals to local prosecutors.

Which is nice, take a page from the NY prosecutions of Trump.

Um, no. The events were PERPETRATED. What we want is proof of who and how.

“I hope they also investigate the torture conditions at the DC Jail.”

That absolutely MUST happen. I have a feeling the sadistic wardens and guards had no idea PDJT would win this election. They were living in a fool’s paradise.

There are some prisoners who were still being retained after Trump’s demand that they be released immediately. (I don’t know the status this morning.) I wonder if the warden was retaining them to buy some time to let the evidence of physical abuse to heal as much as possible.

If they allow democrats on the new committee, it is ESSENTIAL that Mike Johnson pick them like Nancy picked Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. Of course, Republicans are too polite to do that, but it would be a nice touch.

Now they have a prospect of not only Trump, but a young Vance for eight years after his four. Maybe they should start looking for another job?

It is important that all aspects of justice be addressed. Sometimes they don’t necesarrily happen in the proper order.

Normal order is found guilty and then pardoned

sometimes it happens in reverse.

So lets find them guilty to justify bidens pardon.

God does it the reverse way often. First were are pardoned and then many years later, we understand how gulty we are and then repent if we are lucky.

I am of the opinion our pardon from God is not any good until we repent. Now what gives me cause to say that?

Expose her crimes and refer to Bondi for prosecution and court test of preemptive parsons.

Meanwhile building evidence for civil suits against her.

pre-emptive pardons are not a reason to stop investigating.

because civil penalties can still be applied

Well, I won’t back down
No, I won’t back down
You can stand me up at the gates of Hell
But I won’t back down
No, I’ll stand my ground
Won’t be turned around
And I’ll keep this world from draggin’ me down
Gonna stand my ground
And I won’t back down

Pray for Justice. That said, many in America today have no stomach for true Justice. I learned this long ago when witnessing head choppings in “ Head Square”, Taif, Saudi Arabia.

To whom much is given, much is required.

Investigate Cheney and put her through the ringer. She betrayed her constituents and her party. Then she betrayed her country by Felony Witness Tampering and Obstructing Justice to try and “get” Donald Trump.

Make her case the test case for the Unconstitutionality of Preemptive Pardons.
