The White House’s Office of Personnel Management notified heads of agencies and departments that they must begin taking steps to close all Diversity, Equity and Inclusion offices by the end of the day Wednesday and place government workers in those offices on paid leave.
Paid leave? They’re probably celebrating, they sat in the office doing nothing and getting paid for it, now they can sit at home and do nothing and still get paid for it.
I would eventually transfer them to the Smithsonian. In order to earn their paychecks, they'll have to show up to work as tour guides.
It'll be too much work for some of them so they'll end up quitting.
Until they are reassigned to a weather observation office near the North Pole

Well think about it, they cannot be fired or transferred, since they’re useless, always complaining, and very distracting to the relatively few that do try to get their jobs done. No other choice than to get them out of sight, out of mind, while figuring out where to transfer them to.
Once the DEI offices are officially closed, doesn’t that make the employees legally able to be terminated or must they be transferred to other jobs?
But... Who’s gonna’ work at Boeing now?
All DEI offices will begin closing by 5 PM tomorrow. Heads of departments and agencies must send an agency-wide notice to employees informing them of the closure and asking employees if they know of any efforts to disguise these programs by using coded or imprecise language...as the agency takes steps to close all DEI initiatives, offices, and programs...

Weather observers are skilled. These people by definition have no skills.
They can all shuffle over to the DOGE for an interview explaining why they are an essential employee to keep around.
Deader than a door-nail...
They can run the complaint department or clean the outhouse.
Not that I expect them to even show up for their assignment
Trump should also close the DEI down in all areas f the FFRDCs.
Paid leave? Their jobs are abolished, they can be made redundant and let go. Do it.
And buried.
