This is a good thing.

Trump on truth social
I just called the mother of Ross William Ulbright to let her know that in honor of her and the Libertarian Movement, which supported me so strongly, it was my pleasure to have just signed a full and unconditional pardon of her son, Ross. The scum that worked to convict him were some of the same lunatics who were involved in the modern day weaponization of government against me. He was given two life sentences, plus 40 years. Ridiculous!
Edward Snowden next.
Ross William Ulbricht (born March 27, 1984) is an American serving life imprisonment for creating and operating the darknet market website Silk Road
Never heard of it. Care to elaborate?
woohoo!
was just thinking the same thing.
And this Ross William Ulbricht pardon is a GREAT thing!
Mentioned the same thing on the other thread when it was posted that he had not pardoned him yet, to give him time he literally just took office yesterday, and he just gave him a pardon AWESOME NEWS
Never heard of it. Care to elaborate?

A website where one can buy drugs with bitcoins.
I disagree with this pardon. This guy built a dark-web drug empire. Coke? Heroin? Delivered to your doorstep.
I’m pro pot-legalization but hard drugs are awful.
Has Ernst Roehm been released yet?
“Edward Snowden next.”
I like what he said about how much of a threat to national security he is. The Neocons got a warrant against him, but he managed to make it to Russia (by accident), the sworn enemy of the Neocons. And then nothing...the Neocons seemed happy for him to be stuck in Russia (passport revoked), EXACTLY the WORST PLACE for the Neocons to have him spilling all his secrets.
In other words, if he was such a ‘threat’ to national security, why did the Neocons make him stay where he could do the most damage to the US? Answer...he was never a threat, just another political prosecution attempt.
I think most were just hoping for a commutation.
When Trump was in office the first time, I read that Snowden didn’t want a pardon from Trump. Because he doesn’t like Trump. What a dork.
Not really. Just putting it out there for those who don’t recognize the name. If you want more it’s easy to lookup. 😁
Who is this guy and why and to whom is he a cause celébre?
One very fortunate fellow.
