More censorship is never the answer. In fact, it goes against the First Amendment.

If we are in an "economic war" with China, then we need to ban Walmart, Apple, etc from using factories in China. But that's not the case.

There's no "backdoor access" so our intelligence agencies can't gain access to TikTok right now.

According to recent interview with Joe Rogan, the Biden Administration could do whatever they wanted on Facebook and yes that included censorship.

The problem remains...
Why should we let communist foreign nations well-known for their anti-american stance, have free access to spy on us and do propaganda against us - while our own platforms are all systematically banned in China?

This goes far beyond American “censorship” as you mentioned. It’s also (at the very least) about respect and basic reciprocity.

Letting foreign military nations have free access to America while we have non to theirs is simply inconceivable.

They’re a de facto protectorate. Go ahead and put royalty and critters on your currency, keep your liberal votes out of Congress, and generally be a good neighbor, and we’re cool. But, if a horde comes over the Pole, leave the heavy lifting to Uncle Sam.
