NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — The new CEO of a New Jersey government investigative commission is resigning after it was reported she lives in another state and has another job.
A story from Asbury Park Press says State Investigations Commission CEO Tiffany Williams Brewer only shows up to work once, maybe twice a week. Her primary address is in Maryland, and she works at Howard University three days a week.
Williams Brewer was named acting CEO after former Chief Chadd Lackey died in a car accident last year. On Jan. 1, she ditched the acting title and her salary increased from $175,000 to $210,000 — more than Lackey was making.
In a statement, she said her dual residency was transparent and compliant with all regulations, and she’s disappointed that a toxic environment has necessitated her resignation.
Republican State Senator Declan O’Scanlan was among those calling for her resignation, saying this “makes a mockery of the mission of this agency” and is yet another embarrassment for New Jersey politics.
“I could argue that she probably shouldn’t have been pulling double duty even when she was acting director,” O’Scanlan said.
SCI commissioners say while they did not request her resignation, they respected her decision, thanked her for her leadership and wished her well in the future.

So basically she commits a payroll fraud scheme between two states, having a cushy job in NJ, and then whines when she gets caught.
A poster child for DEI government waste was in charge of investigating government waste.
These Democrats are clever!
Both states will probably pay her pensions,
her estates, her police,
and will cover this up as usual.
WATCH: Political crime in NJ and Md has minimal,
if any, accountability.
We need to have Musk’s DOGE for every level of government.
DOGE federal, state, and local government.
DOGE it all.
Gov. Murphy ‘disturbed’ by school leaders making obscene salaries, living in Florida
OMG!! The CROOK IS BLACK!!
She teaches her law students about her field of expertise— the evil corruption of white people.
Lol.
Hatred of Maryland residents is rampant in New Jersey!
Either that, or the "toxicity" was objection to her getting $210K for a 1.5 day per week job. I would love to hear the specific nature of that toxic environment from her. Perhaps she is threatening to play a card if they push for reimbursement.

Oh wow. Nice catch.
She’s a former judge:
“Her scholarly focus spans several areas of her professional expertise including, examining the intersectionality of racial justice, ethics and religion, gender equity, global women’s leadership, criminal justice reform for women and girls.
Judge Brewer was recently appointed by the New Jersey Governor as the first African-American to Chair the New Jersey State Commission of Investigation, an independent investigatory agency empowered to expose organized crime, government fraud and corruption. “
Post 6 has her picture and complete resume.
She is a poster child for anti-white hate.
"teaching courses in . . . 'Professional Responsibility'"
Good Things Roll Downhill, Too - GOP Iowa Governor to Establish State-Level DOGE
Notice that her Howard University description bragged about her double dipping.
The obvious question is how many other Howard Professors are doing exactly the same thing—since the university apparently encourages such corruption.
...Tiffany Williams Brewer is an Assistant Professor of Law teaching courses in Evidence, Professional Responsibility, Legislation & Regulation and a seminar in Black Women & the Law....
The jokes write themselves
Tiffany Williams Brewer teaches courses in Black Women & the Law.......
thus we see her godawful sense of black entitlement to screw taxpayers.
DOGE needs to scrutinize every federal contract and subcontract, grant and loan that has anything to do with Howard University.
It should be a motherlode of corruption and DEI insanity.
