Infamous Colorado apartment complex overrun by Tren de Aragua is ordered shut over ‘imminent threat

An infamous Colorado apartment complex overrun by the vicious Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang has been ordered to shut down because it poses an “imminent threat” to the public, a judge ruled.

The owners of the Edge at Lowry complex in Aurora were slapped with the emergency closure order late last week following a spate of recent violent ordeals — including the brutal kidnapping and torture of a migrant couple who lived there.

The city had requested the closure as officials pursue criminal negligence charges against the building’s owners — Five Dallas Partners — amid the wave of troubling incidents, the Denver Post reported.

Not a police matter. Treat them as an invading army.

So now it’s the property owners fault that violent alien gangs have taken over the building. Really. Stupid WOKE bureaucrats.

Incredible…what should the apartment complex owner do? Hire his own violent private police force to control his property against the lovely diverse guests?

This country is really swirling the drain with open borders and ultra woke incompetent government everywhere you look.

Government abdicating its duty and charging the victims with the crime of not having police protection.

So the apartment is being shut down. Big deal.

It’s like squeezing a balloon. The Tren de Aragua gangsters will just pop up somewhere else.

I believe most Colorado politicians are former Californians. They’re all wishy washy and love their illegal alien voter base.

So typical of democrats, they created the problem, they let the problem fester and then they blame someone else. So, instead of dealing with the gang, they shut down the apartment and the gang will just go somewhere else. What a bunch of feckless idiots. Democrat’s way of governing is on blatant display in Aurora and Los Angeles.

So the idiot judge thinks the building is the problem, not the gang. How can he not realize the gang will just move on to another building? Arrest the gang, treat them like they’d be treated in El Salvador, and deport them.

Keep an eye on it and see which political/organization/oligarch snaps it up at way below market prices.

The city had requested the closure as officials pursue criminal negligence charges against the building’s owners — Five Dallas Partners

https://www.denverpost.com/2024/12/05/aurora-edge-lowry-apartments-closure-cbz-management-venezuelan-gangs/

The deal was reached to resolve the city’s efforts to have the apartments labeled a criminal nuisance and force their closure. Under the proposed settlement, Edge of Lowry would be shuttered for a year while the city repairs the myriad issues there. The property would then be turned back over to Five Dallas Partners, the company that formally owns the property and an offshoot of CBZ Management.

My first is that little is mentioned of the actual problem, the criminals. What are they doing about the criminals?

Actually this may scatter the criminals and make it harder to get a real solution, but it looks like something is done.

It is easier to go after the people who reported the problem than the real problem. We don’t know the dynamics here. Are the owners being held hostage? or is this “solution” a
mutual agreement? might be both.

Arrest the gang, treat them like they’d be treated in El Salvador, and deport them.

No. that just perpetuates the cycle. They're violent gang members. Put a bullet between their eyes and drop them in the desert.

this...

How is the property owner responsible OR ABLE to “close” this?

The gang has taken over and the police refuse to act?

Is the Judge ordering Tren to vacate?

You really didn't think that the politicians that "Blamed Trump" after "Denying the Problem" were suddenly going to take the rap for Tren de Aragua situation, did you? (sarcasm)

From an AP article...
https://news.yahoo.com/news/colorado-apartment-complex-where-armed-211836448.html

“Aurora’s city attorney told FOX31 in December that when closed, a lien would be placed by the city on the properties to recoup any costs associated with the closure and assistance provided to the property residents. The property owners would have to pay those fees, the attorney said.”

So, open borders, sanctuary city, violent gang allowed to roam free, denial by the city leaders that there is a problem, inaction by the police... and the property owners are the problem, and need to pay fines?

I’d be out stocking up on pitch forks and torches, but who would we use them on first?

hen an apartment building has a problem with Rat Infestation, they usually call for an exterminator, not a bulldozer, to simply level the place.
The trick is not waiting for all those Rats to multiply and make the place known for all it’s dirrty-dirt.
