Trump Fawns Over ‘Fascinating’ Fetterman After Mar-a-Lago Meeting: ‘I Couldn’t Be More Impressed’

President-elect Donald Trump fawned over Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) after a recent meeting between the two, calling him a “fascinating man” who he “couldn’t be more impressed” by.

CBS News reported late last week that Fetterman was set to become the first Democratic senator to meet Trump since his triumph in November’s presidential election.

“I think that one, he’s the president, or he will be officially…and I think it’s pretty reasonable that if the president would like to have a conversation — or invite someone to have a conversation — to have it. And no one is my gatekeeper,” said Fetterman in explaining his decision to meet with Trump.

After their conversation, Trump offered Fetterman high praise in a conversation with the Washington Examiner‘s Salena Zito.

“It was a totally fascinating meeting,” the president-elect told Zito. “He’s a fascinating man, and his wife is lovely.

They were both up, and I couldn’t be more impressed.” “He’s a commonsense person. He’s not liberal or conservative. He’s just a commonsense person, which is beautiful,” he continued before concluding that “He really was impressive, and I’m glad I got to speak to him. And he loves Pennsylvania, and he loves our country.”

God works in mysterious ways.

Perhaps he is working in Senator Fetterman...

I hope Trump does not get overly trustful of Fetterman.

Trump needs his vote. I hope Fetterman isn’t another Joe Manchin.

Honesty is certainly refreshing. The lie has been crafted by state wordsmiths into every bit of information in our lives.

Courting the female vote during the campaign, Fetterman famously renamed himself “ FetterWOMAN”. Now I think he wants to become “FetterMANCHIN”.

Possibly a Manchin like replacement? Not always in lock step with his party and be the crossover vote to help lock in the cabinet choices? We lose Murkowski or Collins, but he can help offset them?

I am going to see how Fetterman votes.

If he was all that common-sensical, he wouldn't be a Rat. No way.

Maybe Pres. Trump was just overwhelmed at meeting a Democrat politician that actually puts policies that are positive for the US ahead of his party’s lust for power.

He’s setting up both sides to compete to fill his constituents’ stockings with gifts for each bill that the sides need him on. He’s going to be very successful in future elections. Smart move and the Dems will have to tiptoe around their anger at him.

“He’s a fascinating man, and his wife is lovely."

No, his wife is not lovely. She is an obnoxious liberal zealot who is more interested in Fetterman being a senator than he is.

Fetterman’s transformation is quite amazing. Some folks here think it’s a huge con job. But then why? Fetterman is popular in Pennsylvania. His seat is secure. So that’s not a concern for him.

I think it’s more likely that Fetterman saw the stench in DC close-up, and decided to make a course-correction.

From what I remember, Joe Manchin did vote "yes" on Brett Kavanaugh.

Fetterman’s wife is a Marxist, that’s the problem.

I’m guessing that Fetterman (if he’s the real Fetterman 😉) , realizes that the DemonCrat plan is a disaster and that Trump will try to focus on what’s good for America and not the D emphasis on trans, queers, and fags.
