Enbridge (NYSE:ENB) is working on plans to boost the capacity of its oil pipeline system in the U.S. if the next Trump administration kicks off a boom in drilling, Bloomberg reported Saturday, citing an interview with Chief Executive Greg Ebel.
Ebel was quoted as saying that Enbridge sees a chance to transport “several hundred thousand” more barrels of oil daily in the U.S. in the next two to three years, mostly by optimizing its current system with procedures like looped sections and agents that reduce drag.
