Fresh hell for LA residents as chief fire officials issue wind warnings... as the inferno blazes towards Brentwood and Encino

Californians are facing fresh peril over the devastating wildfires as the largest of the blazes continues to spread - with officials now warning that fast and erratic winds may spread the fires throughout untouched areas over the weekend.

The disaster has already claimed the lives of at least 11 people and destroyed more than 10,000 structures.

Now the expansion of Los Angeles' Palisades fire has partially shuttered the 405 freeway, as the flames begin to encroach on the celebrity neighborhoods of Mandeville Canyon and Brentwood.

Los Angeles County is still battling at least six major fires with most barely contained.

The scale of the devastation has prompted locals to demand answers from officials, amid reports that fire hydrants in some of the worst hit areas ran dry.

As the efforts stretched into their fourth day, it was revealed that a major reservoir in the worst hit area had been drained and closed for repairs when the blaze broke out this week.

Mandeville Canyon at the moment.

Pretty sure that has burned before. Guess it’s been a while though.

A few years ago there was a major fire in Brentwood. I think it was shortly before Covid.

Weather experts gave an alert for hot air coming from one place.

Turned out to be from the Governor, the LA fire department leaders and the Mayor.🗣️

Iv it gets bast Mandeville Canyon, the Mountaingate Country Club could divide that fire in two before it gets to the 405, at which point it would be burning downhill. Possibly a good opportunity for backfires headed back up at it.

I live in a rain forest on the southeast coast. The area around LA looks like a dry tinderbox ripe for wildfires which has been made worse by gross incompetence.

According to Mandeville Canyon residents, the LAFD took a dangerously prolonged approach to managing the initial brush fires, witnesses citing a lack of manpower, and many emergency officials admitted that their resources were simply too limited to offer a more rapid response; for instance, Chief England recalled that “When we saw the speed it was moving, we tried to release equipment, but we were spread too thin”.[3] As the fire continued to burn on October 25, fire officials thus criticized their city government for issuing personnel cutbacks through Proposition 13––an initiative which limited property taxes through the reallocation of funds from emergency services––claiming that the LAFD’s delayed response could be attributed to their shortage of manpower.

"...prompted locals to demand answers from officials"

LOL...Let's check in with Hosea...

"For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up."

OK, "locals," who have you voted for the past 40 years? You brought in the Dem wind, now enjoy your whirlwind.

Too bad those 747 water bombers are not around anymore. They could really use them right now.

Tomorrow is the critical day—higher winds forecast.

If the area survives tomorrow they should be ok.

The Palisades reservoir had a “tear” and has been empty for 11 months.

EMPTY.

But CNN said the empty reservoirs bear no relation to the hydrants not working in their Newsom PR story today.

ok this is enough.

message to LA and SoCal: rank and file: you’ve got to rebel and mutiny against your current marxist/zero growth rulers.

you’ve got to beg DeSantis to come in to lead and help organize national and US state resources to fight this thing.
