More tax revenue!
She’s definitely a fool.
That’s why they’re not to be trusted with anything at all ever.
Corina Luckenbach, a self-identified queer business owner, told KCPQ-TV that she had to close down Bebop Waffle Shop over the increase in minimum wage, which she supported in theory.
IN theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they aren’t.
The state of Washington used to charge you to register your car based on their statement of the value. (I realize that other states do this too). There was a referendum to change that to a flat rate. The government threw on the full court press talking about how the ferries that run out to the islands would have to stop because they could no longer be funded. Then someone pointed out that according to their own numbers, the ferries are self sufficient and actually MAKE money. Anyway, the referendum passed and the state went back to fixed rates. And then, some time after that, the Seattle area voted to reimplement that “personal property tax” based registration system. Because the leftists in Seattle have never met a tax that they didn’t like.
Alaska had a ballot measure 1 that passed last election. It raises minimum wage, and forces small businesses to provide benefits they don’t have to before. Idiots.
It’s going to hurt small businesses once it becomes law.
You can’t fix stupid.
Dang!
Just saw her picture at the linked article ...
Where do I get my roman collar?
The WSF is a money maker? That must be why they are always raising fares, surcharging and threatening service cuts.
Yes. I noticed that too. Overwhelmingly, leftist “women” are butt ugly. I think the observation that “Politics is Hollywood for ugly people” was more or less based on that fact. So many unattractive, weird looking and strange acting people in politics. It’s a haven for ugly sociopaths and psychopaths.
Seattle keeps digging, they will eventually fall into that hole, sadly those who got them there will move on to other fresh targets.
Back when they were threatening those cuts in response to the vehicle tax someone did a study on them and determined that they actually MAKE money. That was then, who knows now.
