Trump’s first term faced significant challenges from a lack of loyalty and discipline within his ranks. Some of his appointees seemed more focused on securing lucrative book deals filled with sensational claims, while others leaked information at every opportunity. Additionally, some personnel choices were puzzling and likely hindered his ability to govern as effectively as possible.
However, it seems the new Trump transition is already taking steps to address these past missteps, setting a more disciplined tone, which is likely going to mean a far more effective and efficient administration this time around.
And that’s thanks to Susie Wiles, Trump’s incoming White House chief of staff.
Wiles recently issued a memo that sets the tone for how the incoming administration intends to operate, ensuring focus, clarity, and a no-nonsense approach to governance.
In the memo, Wiles instructed all nominees who require Senate confirmation to avoid any social media activity unless explicitly approved by Trump’s legal team. This directive is a clear signal that the administration wants to avoid unnecessary distractions and prevent missteps in the critical confirmation process.
“While this instruction has been delivered previously, I am reiterating that no member of the incoming administration or Transition speaks for the United States or the President-elect himself,” Wiles wrote in a memo, which was obtained by The New York Post. “Accordingly, all intended nominees should refrain from any public social media posts without prior approval of the incoming White House counsel.”
By emphasizing restraint on platforms known for fueling controversies, Wiles is establishing that the administration’s public image will be carefully managed.
Another key point in the memo is that no one on the transition team or in the incoming administration has the authority to speak on behalf of Trump or the U.S. without explicit approval.

Wiles is a breath of fresh air and no nonsense! I love it!
She merited being appointed to the Chief of Staff position and it shows.
She sure seems like the right person. She will have to keep checking the machine, because I am sure there are a huge number of people who will keep trying to put sand into it.
If Wiles can get the two wing nuts who have no respect for the U.S. and the constitution to get in line she’ll be able to say it’s a well oiled machine. Not before then
Worse than Bush and company
And that was rhetoric bad enough
I find this language from our own team disgusting
Citizen Kane on acid feels like
The globalists want us to shut up about colonizing “legal” immigration but we must not. The squeaky wheel gets the grease and if the MAGA base goes docile and quiet the globalist GOPe reptiles will get everything they want and we will be left with our d*ck in one hand and nothing the other.
Right action. The only move acceptable.
It is disgustingly to say the least. Now that we won the election they want the MAGA base sit down and shut up. I say no. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
“The globalists want us to shut up about colonizing “legal” immigration but we must not. “
I can shut up for a month until Trump gets his team confirmed and, hopefully, has a Speaker of the House.
After that, I agree, the gloves come off.
No Steve Bannon this time...and it shows
Not if Trump continues to announce policy on social media and leave it to supporters to come up with a quick explanation afterwards at an awkward time.
AMEN!! BINGO!!! DITTOS!!!
Apparently Elon and Vivek didn’t get the memo.
RE: Apparently Elon and Vivek didn’t get the memo
I think the memo went out AFTER ( or maybe BECAUSE OF ) their Tweets.
“I can shut up for a month “
The memo wasn’t to us; it was to Cabinet nominees. We don’t have to rein it in.
I had all my comments for the past two days of reference Elon Musk’s tax deleted by the admin moderator.
The two tech bros really stepped in it all on their own. I know there are a lot of Freepers that think, or just pretend to think, that this is all propaganda from the left of media but the globalist cheap labor duo went out of their way to enrage the MAGA base and they got what they deserved. They were sweet as pie before the election and then after the win they pivoted globalist when they thought they no longer needed the MAGA base.
Liberals don’t run around posting their intentions on all the social media right after they win-our side shouldn’t do it either. either-let them speculate/guess till they go totally berserk. Musk and Ramaswamy are only unpaid advisors-they are not “staff”, so Suzy-or anyone else-has no control over what they say on or off of social media-the consequences of any of that are theirs to own as well, even if it gets them uninvited to the advisor’s party...
