Two people have been arrested for felony child abuse after a one-month old baby was found abandoned wearing only a diaper in the freezing cold on Christmas Day.
Christina Thurman, 33, and Jarvis Sims, 42, were detained by cops after the infant was discovered in a car seat near a median in northern Denver.
The Colorado Adams County Sheriff's Office tracked them down later that day. The duo appeared expressionless in mugshots distributed by cops on Boxing Day.
Deputies said they received a 911 call around 9.30am on Christmas morning from a passerby who discovered the abandoned baby boy on 7490 Pecos Street.
The child was wearing only a diaper and sitting in a car seat carrier, which deputies posted online in the hopes people would help locate the parents.

Raise the age limit for THC in Colorado from 21 to 60.

Nah, there have always been extremely sick incidents in society- heck parents used to throw their babies into a huge burning furnace in sacrifice to false gods. Lots o examples of sick demented evil parents throughout time- its just that there are now so many people in the world, and reporting is now instant that we hear about it more often
These animals should not be allowed to breed. They belong in cages.
