The former Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri, told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview that the country now has Russian-styled elections, and the country has no credible or legitimate parliament, adding another blow to Georgia’s long struggle to join the European Union.
"The elections were rigged, and we have an illegitimate parliament right now," Gilauri told Fox News Digital.
For many in Georgia’s battle for democracy, the Russian-supported Georgian Dream’s election victory was no doubt a win for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Putin was praising Georgia’s government on its standing against European pressure just within minutes of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s announcement on stopping the European integration process of Georgia," Gilauri said.

Election over, the Globalists LOST. Go home now EU and offer something better than flooding that country with Middle East Migrants and Groomers - THEY DO NOT WANT IT, and you may do better next time.
Remember when the best, the brightest and the most trustworthy people in American Government told us Trump was a Russian agent, communicating with Putin through a secret server at Alfa Bank, and his son was paling-around with sexy-Russian female agents?
I do.
Junior Brown wrote a song about one!
Cagey Bea
She’s a real Russian beauty
Balalaika totin’ cutie
She’s a whole lotta fun on a date
And she’s an undercover agent
And I’m just another fool
She’s tryin’ to investigate
Her name is double agent Beatrice
Knock em off the third
And she’s a threat to national security
In the undercover world
She’s a pretty cagey girl
And that’s why they call her Cagey Bea
[Chorus]
Cagey Bea, Cagey Bea
Cagiest babushka in the land of the free
Gettin’ secrets undercover from so many others
But she’s only gettin’ lovin’ outta me
[Verse 2]
I met a gal the other day
In a strange sorta way
Takin’ pictures of my house from her car
She said she was a tourist
But she seemed more adventurous
Than just a girl from the USSR
She was handin’ out the borscht
So I jumped right in her Porsche
And felt a wire goin’ right up my sleeve
By the time we started kissin’
Half of Moscow was listenin’
To the prisoner of Cagey Bea
[Chorus]
Cagey Bea, Cagey Bea
Why’d you go and play them dirty tricks on me?
Gettin’ secrets undercover from so many others
But’cha only gettin’ lovin’ outta me
[Verse 3]
She gotta sexy lookin’ hemline
And them boys back at the Kremlin
Keep an eye on her every step
But my love will never stop
For the cagey Russian cop
And I’m needin’ all the lovin’ I can get
I ain’t walkin’ down the aisle
Till she throws away my file
And gets those surveillance cameras off of me
I ain’t wearin’ no corsage
‘Till there’s no more espionage
From double agent Cagey Bea
[Chorus]
Cagey Bea, Cagey Bea
Cagiest babushka in the land of the free
Gettin’ secrets undercover from so many others
But she’s only gettin’ lovin’ outta me
No, she’s only gettin’ lovin’ outta me
That is what I am thinking, the Russia Russia Russia hoax in the US is being rolled out in Georgia. Maybe JUST maybe, people in that country want to be self governing instead of Puppets.
Nika Gilauri, Executive Director, JSC Partnership Fund World Economic Forum
Re-reading the non-Georigian "national names," one finds Ireland, the United States, Spain --- and, oh yeah -- that ESBI Energy Company was registered in Delaware, and with office address in Houston, Texas. One might well consider some "like" parallel to Burisma in Ukraine.
And that "globalist" comment another Freeper made? Wiki says "After his retirement from the government, Gilauri established, in 2012, the independent advisory firm Reformatics, which has worked with more than 20 governments around the world."
If Georgia turns away from deeper connection with the EU, he and his lose a bundle....
The thing about Georgia’s most recent election is that it was a choice between one of the following:
1. A government on good terms with both Europe and Russia, or,
2. A government that DESPISES Russia (their huge neighbor) and will take orders on how to run the country (from the EU, of course), and possibly end up in a war with Russia, just as happened to Ukraine when the Neocons forced their current government on to them.
One would have to be a TOTAL IDIOT (or a troll here) to say that the second option was better for Georgians.
Putin already invaded Georgia, in 2008. Every Georgian hates Russia.
“Putin already invaded Georgia, in 2008. Every Georgian hates Russia.”
After being attacked. Read the EU report please.
You think Georgia attacked Russia? LOL.
“You think Georgia attacked Russia? LOL.”
I wasn’t there, were you there? In any case the EU investigated and concluded that GEORGIA started that war, but then you already know that. The fact that it didn’t end well for Georgia is a risk you take when you start a war, as as the Neocons are learning the hard way with Ukraine.
Georgia tried to bring back Russia-backed breakaway regions into the fold. That’s not starting a war nor is it invading Russia. Come on Commie, do better.
“Georgia tried to bring back Russia-backed breakaway regions into the fold. That’s not starting a war nor is it invading Russia. Come on Commie, do better.”
Tell it to the EU, but then you already know Georgia started the war - NICE TRY!
“Come on Commie, do better.”
You are welcome to disagree with me, but PERSONAL ATTACKS are against the rules on this site, as JR has made clear, MULTIPLE TIMES. Please don’t make me ping him again, as he gets fed up with people who cannot discuss things by the rules.
Calling you a communist isn’t a personal attack, it’s a neutral descriptor. Would you feel more comfortable with me calling you a Bolshevik in case someone mistakenly thinks you’re one of those Menshevik dead-enders?
