I think if you were writing a movie about the comeback of Donald Trump, and you tried to sell it, people probably would have told you that they wouldn't buy it because no one would believe it. But it happened, with him ultimately winning in triumph despite all the efforts against him, including impeachments, convictions, and assassination attempts.
Trump rang the morning bell at the New York Stock Exchange Thursday morning, a precursor to ringing in a new age in Washington and the country come January.

While there were other people on the shortlist for Person of the Year who certainly contributed to the victory or made an impact, like Elon Musk, no one commanded the year as much as Trump, and he was truly reveling in the victory at the NYSE.
Meanwhile, the cherry on the top was how mad the left was over it. Former CNN stooge Don Lemon was just beside himself, unable to understand how Time could have done this.

I won’t know that Trump was named “Person of the Year” because, I don’t buy Time nor do I read it.
Maybe somebody will tell me about it.

Poor Don Lemon. He doesn’t realize that no one cares what he thinks about anything. But, the Dems will still love him because, even in this video, he continues to carry their water and the lies they’ve foisted on the public for the past decade.

Trouble is, Musk just loves fighting (and crushing) far left creeps in court.

The thing to remember about Time’s person of the year is that it isn’t necessarily meant to be an honor for the person named and it isn’t an endorsement by Time of what they are doing to earn the designation. It is a recognition of who the most influential shaper of events was during the current year, whether that was in a positive or negative way. Of course we see what Trump has done as a positive thing for our nation and the world. The folks at Time probably see it differently, but even they had to admit that in 2024, much like Hitler in 1939 (not sure if that was the year he was named), there was nobody who influenced world events more.
Maybe Time thinks it needs to buy a Get Out of Jail Free card and this might be the right price.
That is what I thought Zuckerberg was doing when he donated a million to the inauguration.
