My mail used to arrive at 3 pm just about every day. Now, it comes after 5 if at all. I get an email of what is supposed to be in the mail. Some of it doesn’t arrive, it may arrive the next day or after.
All I know is the service sucks.
He don’t like criticism or oversight then fire him. Not just fire him, remove him from his position with prejudice. No retirement, nothing. USPS sucks ballz! It’s a work program for minorities that steal my packages. Ever try to make an insurance claim with USPS? I don’t advise it that path. Just pay extra for UPS or FedEx and save yourself a whole lot of trouble.

How do you get an email about what you will be getting in thr mail?
Haha! I was just going to post the same thing! My packages were never arriving at their destination so I was told to make an insurance claim. What a joke, not even possible to do. They just blatantly steal. So, like you I now pay for UPS which isn’t the greatest either but better than the USPS. Watching this arrogant, entitled jerk made my blood boil but it explained a lot about the attitude of the workets.

and the letters with cash. I woman sent me $650 with a tracking number. It hit Philadelphia processing center and vanished. Their x ray machines allow them to see the money.
We lost our local carrier, she retired.
New delivery person either doesn’t deliver the mail, claims “no one was available” (at a mailbox?) or “obstructed”.
Strange how there’s no obstruction for them to put the notification in the mailbox...
Wow! The exact same situation with me. It happened when they switched mail carriers to a more "diverse" one. Complain? Who to?
Part of it is they literally don’t have enough people in the offices and on the routes. I discuss whats going on with my postmaster regularly. They are spread very thin and in need of carriers and people to fill post office clerk positions.
The other part of it is when they changed/combined several levels of mail into “ground advantage”. Not sure if they were ready for the actual increased load they are seeing there.
Our delivery to be around noon. Now usually about 5 PM but sometimes after that. I don’t get mail until after dark some days. They drive mailbox to mailbox, what do they do all day? Plus our mail and neighbors mail are frequently delivered to the wrong box.
My son worked for the post office. He delivered rural mail. It can take years to become full-time. Meanwhile, you have no insurance.. Good luck getting a 40 hour work week. He was averaging 25 hours a week.
