American actor Kevin Spacey made a surprise trip to Israel on Friday, and visited the Gaza border communities, spoke to lone soldiers, and held a two-hour acting masterclass in Tel Aviv.
According to Ynet, Spacey was accompanied on his trip by Douglas Murray. Spacey reportedly paid a surprise visit to a lone solider named Ayla Lowenstein, who is the daughter of his manager, Evan Lowenstein.
Spacey also visited the site of the Nova music festival massacre. In videos published by Ynet, Spacey can be seen touring houses in Gaza border kibbutzim targeted during the October 7 massacre. Flash90 also published videos of Spacey at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
Israeli media also reported that Spacey visited wounded Israeli soldiers at Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer.
Speaker of the Knesset, Amir Ohana, posted pictures of his meeting with Spacey, alongside a handwritten note from the actor in the Knesset guest book. The note reads: “For the people of Israel, My heart is filled with admiration and strength for your struggle. I will share the stories I have heard and what I have witnessed with my own eyes. With love, Kevin Spacey.”

Spacey was sued for sexual assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress under the Child Victims Act.
Fifteen others came forward alleging similar abuse, including Boston anchorwoman Heather Unruh, who alleged that Spacey sexually assaulted her son; filmmaker Tony Montana; actor Roberto Cavazos; Richard Dreyfuss’ son Harry; and eight people who worked on House of Cards series.
The Guardian was contacted by “a number of people” who alleged that Spacey “groped and behaved in an inappropriate way with young men” as artistic director of The Old Vic theatre.
In the wake of these claims, Netflix cut ties with Spacey, shelving his biopic of Gore Vidal and removing him from the last season of House of Cards. His completed role as J. Paul Getty in Ridley Scott’s film All the Money in the World (2017) was reshot with Christopher Plummer.
Spacey has denied the accusations and was found not liable in a 2022 lawsuit in New York. In a separate case in London, he was acquitted by a jury of sexual assault charges in 2023. Between 2018 and 2019, charges against him were dropped or not made, due to reasons such as death, refusal to testify, and statute of limitations.

Maybe he’s had a spiritual awakening. I don’t know. But whateer, and I have read all the accusations and maybe they are true.......but I do know he’s a hell of a good actor. Glengarry Glen Ross, Margin Call, ....he’s great in those 2 movies. Just great.

I know what the man did. He’s paid a heavy price. However, I still think he is an amazing actor and, aside from his private/personal proclivities, is still quite a renaissance type of man. I’d enjoy spending an evening over drinks in conversation with him. I think it would be interesting, invigorating and entertaining.
I hope so- his escaping justice though likely just reinforced his invulnerability complex, but perhaps God has gotten through to him
Hope so. God has saved much worse people. Even King Nebuchudnezzar is going to be in heaven. Most people don’t realize this once wicked king wrote a chapter in the Bible. Daniel 4 I believe.

I hate to defend the guy but if he did the 4 trillion things he’s been accused of why didn’t some of it stick in court?
He probably is an obnoxious gay flirt which he freely admits and I imagine not well received by the average guy.
Apparently Spacey has been totally bankrupted by this whole thing so I’m going to let it go and enjoy watching his movies again.
