he far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) plans to campaign on calls for the country to quit the European Union, the Paris climate agreement and the euro currency ahead of the early election expected in February.

The policies are spelled out in the AfD's draft party platform, which will be discussed and voted on by AfD members at a national party conference on January 11 to 12.

I think this is fallout from the pipeline being blown up. Germans must see this as someone forcing them into a position by causing them harm.

This is our view too. Nothing scary, except that the corrupt German "ideologues" have gained ascendancy for a while. That time is coming to an end. The "far Left" has been playing as if they are "center-right."

The consistency of the attacks on opposition politics from the right is being carried on in the Lefty European media on a regular basis. One can cite another German -- and other European press -- and see that same consistent rhetorical attacks. Even so, AfD makes electoral gains.
