Combine supplying nuclear weapons and ATACMS missiles to Ukraine with US nuclear first-strike policy and nuclear war is a certainty.

https://www.armscontrol.org/act/2022-04/news/biden-policy-allows-first-use-nuclear-weapons

Both US and Russia have nuclear policy that authorizes a nuclear response to nuclear capable missiles launched at them, because there is no way of knowing their payloads until they detonate.

Memo: Only Russia is allowed to make nuclear threats.

Biden made a nuclear threat in 2022 by changing US nuclear policy to allow a nuclear first-strike.

The New York Times reported...

Therein lies the problem -- Russia or anybody else believing anything in the NYT.

So, the Biden administration to Putin: “I’ll see your irresponsibility and raise you.”

Absolutely. The true serious threat of this is much more than secure minds think.

Source doesn’t matter. It is basic common sense cause and effect. It doesn’t even require critical thinking skills. What goes up will come down.

Current nuclear states have a minimal sense of responsibility with the capability.

Zelenskyy DOES NOT. He is a loose cannon and cannot be trusted to be in possession let alone be responsible with them.

It is like handing a three year old a book of matches.

My question is, is anybody in the U.S. even talking about giving nukes to Ukraine, or is the NYT making it up like they do for most of their “news”?

That would be an instant and enormous deterrent.

Deterrent my ass - if Zelenskiy got nukes, that asshole would use them.

Extremely bad idea!

It has been reported from many different sources over the last several days. And Russia themselves have responded back about the direct threat from NATO. Russia would not even address it unless it was a credible threat.

Biden did it first, Einstein.

It is true. I saw an article about it yesterday, but can’t find it now. Still looking.

No more irresponsible than Russia constantly threatening to use them. Putin needs to make a deal that would take the use of nuclear weapons off the table for everyone.

What would the USA do if Russia staged troops and weapons of mass destruction on the Mexican border and launched missiles at Fort Bliss?

Irresponsibly do nothing?

“threatening” is not use. Zelenskyy is an idiot and will actually push the button. Like I said earlier. It is like handing a three year old a book of matches.

Non sequitur. NATO has not staged any troops in Ukraine nor has it launched any missiles in Russia. To fill out your false analogy you would also have to posit that any such action was a response to a US invasion of Mexico in the first place. But keep trying.

Zelensky told Trump in September that the choice is NATO or nukes. Trump said it was a fair argument.

Actually, if you want to be accurate Clinton started the betting. I stop short of siding with a KGB thug and his dreams of a new Russian Empire or a kleptocratic money laundering operation of the Biden family and DNC. A curse on both their houses.

How sleazy of you, ignoring the $250,000,000,000+ we have laundered through Ukraine and the tanks, missiles and fighter jets we have supplied them.
