Elon Musk has appeared to back a petition calling for a fresh UK general election.
The petition, created at the end of last week, demands a rerun of the July 4 contest because of the Government “going back on its promises”. It has surpassed two million signatures.
Responding to a post marking one million signatures on the petition on Sunday night, Mr Musk, the billionaire owner of X, formerly Twitter, wrote:
Asked about the petition during an interview on ITV’s This Morning, Sir Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister, said: “Look, I remind myself that very many people didn’t vote Labour at the last election.
“I’m not surprised that many of them want a re-run. That isn’t how our system works. There will be plenty of people who didn’t want us in in the first place. So what my focus is on is the decisions that I have to make every day.”
Downing Street sought to avoid a war of words with Mr Musk, with the Prime Minister’s official spokesman saying: “I’m not going to be drawn on individual comments. The Prime Minister is focused on the issues that matter most to the British people.”
Mr Musk has been a vocal critic of Sir Keir and the Government. In August, he attacked the Prime Minister’s response to the summer riots, and also accused him of going “full Stalin” after the Government’s inheritance tax raid on farmers.

The Eurotrash establishment across the pond must be very unhappy.
Two tiered Keir doesn’t stoop to bleeding colonists. From any continent!
It’s truly unfortunate that, at this moment of peak MAGA, Trump doesn’t have a like-minded partner in the UK. The post-Brexit UK could have been an optimal economic and political ally ... much like Thatcher-era Britain was during the Reagan era. And at this precise moment when such a partnership might have blossomed, Britain is saddled with its most hard-left government and PM in the last half-century. Such a missed opportunity.
Nigel Farage?

They can put him in prison for saying that

Now up over 2.6 million signatures.
Fastest growing petition on record.
Councillor posts message asking people to send birthday cards to Tommy Robinson
Love to see the Walses send him one. But they won't.
If we have sanctioned or criticized countries like Iran for human rights violations, the Trump Administration must do likewise for Britain, France, and Germany, three supposed democracies that are in fact leftist run oligarchies where free speech is suppressed. The level of repression exceeds what we have seen with the Biden regime.
ORG warns of threat to privacy and free speech as Online Safety Bill is passed
Note the timing.
The EU has the Digital Services Act.
The UK has the OSA.
The UK Brexited in name only.
And its citizenry has been made to pay for voting for it the same way we in the US have been made to pay for voting for Trump and MAGA.
What the UK doesn't have, and desperately needs, is its own Trump standing between the citizenry and its Deep State.
As bad as Starmer is, remember that the UK Communications Act, which is being used to arrest people for posting online, was a bipartisan effort by Labour and the Conservatives. No one fought against it. Both parties are OK with censoring speech. Maybe Labour is a little more enthusiastic about it.
Kier doesn’t give a sh*t and his party is standing by him.
People in the UK are living under the delusion that they’re still living in a free country. They thin a petition will matter. Many are openly asking “what can we do?”, we need a leader!!
Yeah...his name is Tommy Robinson and you’re watching him sit in a prison cell for showing a *banned* documentary....’convicted’ by a single judge, no jury.
Until Nigel embraces the working class, along with their support for Tommy Robinson, I view him as nothing more than another political opportunist.
His parties lack of support, if not outright hostility, for Tommy is now biting them.
He could throw the signers of the petition in prison for “inciting violence”.
It would certainly be a miracle if the UK followed the American example and kicked all the wokies out.
