President-elect Donald Trump has decided to bring his barefisted advisor Steven Cheung to the White House as his communications director.
Cheung, who made his bones in communications at the Ultimate Fighting Championship, previously served in the White House during Trump's first term as director of strategic response.
He was responsible for delivering tart responses to the press as comms director for the Trump campaign, which modelled the candidate in taking a sledgehammer to political rivals.

“barefisted?”
“Sledgehammer?”
Sounds perfect for the job.
Cheung’s White House communications director role is not subject to Senate confirmation,
so Cheung will be able to immediately start serving when Trump takes office on Jan. 20.
The WH press secretary is a separate role and Trump’s choice has not yet been announced.
Considering they took on the entire US Politician/Media machine and won “biggly” on Nov 5 2024, this is a good pick.
👍👍👍👍👍
Chueng doesn’t need to wait till Jan 20, he can start talking to the media right now. I am sure they would love to hear what’s going on in the Office of the President-Elect, just like how they treated Obama when he had it.
I still want to see Hulk Hogan as press secretary. The democrats and media would choke on the testosterone.
That would be a Democrat slap in the face.
Trump promised an Independent in the cabinet.
Do we have one yet?
Can someone fill me in?
Is he a proven fighter for Trump?
Or Cyrus
I’d love to see the administration take on credentials for the White House Press Corps. Specifically I would like to see a lot of decisions based on readership/listenership numbers and I’d love to see the traditional Times and Post reporters eat some humble pie as they take turns in the press events, just as they have treated conservative outlets.
Cyrus who?
Those who try to make that ridiculous assertion are clearly snowflakes grasping for anything because they are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and their sad, miserable existence will be crushed when President Trump returns to the White House.

I like the way he talks!
