SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX/Gray News) - Police in Vermont say a gas station clerk is facing charges after shooting at two juveniles involved in a robbery at the convenience store.
South Burlington police say Domonic Ali-Koarti, 34, was behind the counter at a Shell gas station on Williston Road last week when two juveniles robbed the store at gunpoint.
Investigators said Ali-Koarti told officers he handed over the cash to the suspects and followed them outside. He then saw two muzzle flashes and believed the robbers were shooting at him, so he pulled out his gun and fired several shots at them.
The juveniles told police they were trying to get away from the scene.
Authorities said Ali-Koarti is now facing charges of aggravated assault in the incident.
The juvenile suspects have been cited for assault and robbery.

Burlington is infested with drug addicts.
It WAS a beautiful lake front small city/college town at one point. It is on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain. The Adirondack park is across the lake in NY.
VT brought in a bunch of Somalis some time in the last 30 years. They now control the drug trade there. It has a very high murder rate because of the Somalis shooting each other often.
The downtown area of Burlington smells like dope(according to my son). It is the home of UVM. They clear out the drug addicts once in awhile for homecoming weekend when parents come to visit. My son contemplated doing a PHD program there UNTIL he visited. Then changed his mind.
So, in a way it is very similar to San Fran on a much smaller scale. They took what was once a really nice small city/big town and turned it into a liberal utopia sh%t hole.

Police said the suspects’ family members were able to positively identify the two males using surveillance images released after the robbery. They were identified as juveniles from Lamoille and Caledonia counties.
On Tuesday, Nov. 12, both suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges. They were ordered released on charges that include staying away from the Interstate Shell station and not having access to any firearms or weapons.

Oh this is South Burlington, not Burlington where one Bernie Sanders was the mayor for 8 years.
The issue for him is where those bullets went. They will go after him (and ONLY him) ‘cause you are responsible for anyone else hit when you fire a gun.
Hint, if you go to the range enough you will not miss and the coppers will KNOW where those bullets ended up.
I’m guessing none of you carry. The clerk is clearly in the wrong here. His life was no longer in danger, he had no right to pursue and fire upon the thieves once they were no longer pointing a weapon at him.
But don’t rob a pancake restaurant. Those plaid wearing lesbians are fierce.
So what. Payback is hell.
Correct, there aren’t many states where he wouldn’t face charges for following them.

So what?? Really? So, you think it’s okay for the clerk to break the law because he was a victim of someone else breaking the law.
I have a carry permit because I’m a law abiding citizen and I’m proud of that fact. People that flaunt the law while playing police officer are the very reason so many question whether or not I should be allowed to carry.
