Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif.) is projected to win reelection in his Southern California House seat, according to Decision Desk HQ.
Calvert faced a challenge from Democrat Will Rollins, a former federal prosecutor, for California’s 41st Congressional District situated between Los Angeles and San Diego. The district narrowly went for Donald Trump by a point in 2020.
The two previously ran against each other in 2022, with Calvert defeating Rollins by close to 5 points last cycle.
Calvert is the longest serving House Republican in California, having entered Congress in 1993.

Good news. Maybe one more seat from California and one from Alaska. That would give us 221 seats.
Good, Rollins was a slimy pretty boy. TV ads showing him with d-bag Arnold schwarzenegger. He claimed he would go to DC and clean up corruption in BOTH parties.
Really really happy to hear this. He’s my Rep.
“Really really happy to hear this. He’s my Rep.”
Rollins PAC ads were disgusting. Basically fat shaming Calvert and ripping him for being successful in real estate.

How many more undecided seats?

“How many more undecided seats?”
I think there are 4 more in California that are not called, but the Democrats are leading in them. So, it is not likely we can turn one of those around.
Decision Desk says it is 219 to 209 right now, so 7?
I think seven are left—we lead in three, they lead in four—last time I checked.
In CA-13, Duarte (R) leading Gray (D) 51.1% to 48.9% so that's looking pretty good.
And the Rep. is leading in CA-45.
BTW, while there were retirements/moves on both the GOP and DEM sides of the House, many of the GOP retirements seemed have happened later in the political cycle than the DEM retirements. Couple that with some nasty redistricting, like in NY, and it mat be a small miracle for the GOP to gain two seats this time, even with Trump's momentum.
I saw that - Antelope Valley goes for the Rat
Yup—222 is looking like the most likely number at this point.
“In CA-13, Duarte (R) leading Gray (D) 51.1% to 48.9% so that’s looking pretty good.”
The thing about this race is that the lead has been pretty steady.
“And the Rep. is leading in CA-45.”
Yes, she is. However, the lead was at 9500 and now is down to 3900. I do not like the trend with this one. 86% vote count according to Decision Desk.
GOP held the US House since 2022 and did nothing with their power. It no surprise they did poorly compared to President Trump.
God has saved the USA many times in this way. A man is needed, a man is found
I”m so happy we’re through with all of the ads.
As long as Trump doesn’t keep pulling House reps for his administration.
