The Kremlin has denied reports that the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, spoke to the US president-elect, Donald Trump, calling the media reports “pure fiction”. The Washington Post first reported that a call had taken place, citing unidentified sources, and said that Trump had told Putin that he should not escalate the Ukraine war. Reuters also reported on a call. “It is completely untrue. It is pure fiction; it is simply false information,” the Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, said when asked about the call. “There was no conversation.”

The Washington Post, the CIA propaganda mouthpiece, cites “unnamed sources”.
Why hasn’t Trump denied it?

Trump refuses to be put on his back foot.
It’s possible this is a rumor started in order to get Trump to deny it, and thus be boxed in from a policy standpoint.

I think it is simply what Trump has said publicly. He has said that the war needs to not expand and end very quickly.
Here is your Russia russia russia fbi same old stir different pot
I guess I don’t understand. If this was said, how is that a problem? This is exactly what you would want President Trump to say.
Is someone channeling Elanor again and whispering to Christopher A Wray? These unnamed sources keep popping up. Kind of like the nibbler’s extra phantom votes.
We were ASSURED by FR's resident Ukie clown bots that it was TOTES true.
Kudos.
Seems a little like the Cathy Newman "so what you're saying" is when you didn't say whatever then follows from the manipulative press.
So many will be getting their feewings hurt... what’s the best waaahambulance play in terms of the stock market?
Where did the fake news reports come from?
"The Washington Post first reported that a call had taken place, citing unidentified sources...."Thus, from an unidentified source to the WaPo in the US to the Guardian in the UK and in parallel to Reuters. When we played it with kids in school, it used to be called "Chinese whispers."
Now we term it corrupt corporate media disinformation.
Here's Pjotr....

Alumnus Pjotr Sauer is a Russia affairs correspondent for the Guardian University of Utrecht article, 5 July 2022.
Washington Post is the favored mouthpiece for CIA leaks.
Yeah, all those consonants confuse me.
Is he supposed to run around denying every fiction story in the British press? It didn’t even happen.
Agreed.
As my bride and I follow European news a great deal, it seems the "powers that be" in a government-media alliance are now angling to shut down whole political parties, individual websites and commentary not to their "corrupt corporate media disinformation" stances.
The claims that Trump warned Putin not to escalate would alos be a lie, one promoted ad nauseum by Zeeper stooges here.
It shows the length Deep State continues to go in sowing discord among Trump supporters.
