John Hinckley Jr., the failed assassin who shot former President Ronald Reagan, responded to requests to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump by stating that he is a “man of peace now.”
“I’m a man of peace now!” Hinckley wrote in a post on X. “Please stop with all the negative comments!”
Hinckley’s post comes months after Trump survived two assassination attempts on his life.

This really is sickening. It almost makes me feel sympathy for Hinkley. Evil Leftists are trying to goad Hinkley into shooting Trump by claiming Jodie Foster wants him to do it.
I’ve seen a lot of sick, evil stuff from the Left but this is really sick and evil.
Although I have no reason to believe that Hinkley does feel remorse for his actions, I firmly believe that anyone that attempts to take the life of the President should be given the death penalty.
In the case of Hinkley, he should not be out on the streets without parole restrictions. He definitely should not have unsupervised access to the Internet. He’s a folk hero to Marxits and freaks on the left, whether he wants to be or not.

Did somebody/anybody really approach this man with the idea he should kill, or try to kill, Trump?

It is truly evil to try to talk a mentally ill man into repeating an act that caused him to be incarcerated for decades, just because you’re full of hate and are angry about election results. Have these people no souls?
