A prominent community church in Northern California is under scrutiny for orchestrating a nonofficial ballot drop box scheme in the month leading up to the Nov. 5 presidential election. After SFGATE presented evidence of the church’s ballot-gathering activities to Tehama County’s registrar of voters, officials said they would refer the matter to the District Attorney’s Office.

While serving its parishioners, the church has been quietly deploying a multifaceted influence campaign called Real Impact with the explicit mission to “educate, equip, and encourage Christians to have a godly influence on our society and culture.”

Public schools can tell the students how to vote. Unions can tell their members how to vote. But a Christian church can’t advise its members on how to vote.

What we should not do is just say we won and move on. There have to be serious legal consequences.

Jack Hibbs has a video posted on his youtube account talking about his and a large number of churches decided that if California wanted to allow ballot harvesting, Christians should get in on the game. I believe he said something like 1200 churches were involved this time, and the intention is to get even more involved in the next election. He wants California to stop this, and he believes with all the churches involved, that the legislature will eventually put a stop to ballot harvesting. As long as only liberal/atheist groups are doing it, the practice will continue because it benefits them.

That’s why it’s imperative that we win both chambers the Senate and Congress. If we don’t win those two then Trump‘s victory is for not. They will come after him like they did in 2016 and make life hell for all of us. It doesn’t matter to them if Trump won both the popular and the electoral votes. They don’t give a damn they’re corrupt to the core along with a pentagon who are trying to do some rotten under the table crap to hinder and tie his hands. It won’t matter to the dirty nasty evil Pelosi if she gets her hands back on the gravel …AND it won’t matter if this two POS Cornyn and Thune get to be majority leaders behind closed doors of the Senate. And it’ll be for not if our party does not grow a spine of steel to deport those pieces of shit who think they’ve got the right to protest by the thousands in New York City. Nobody has given them the right they’re here illegally they’re here sponging off of the American taxpayer and they’re here raping our children either physically or sponging off of them what is rightfully theirs! If those sanctuary cities continue to want to have a sanctuary status then I say we round them all up and send them to New York Illinois California Colorado and New Mexico! That’s the only way or it is for not! We worked so damn hard to vote for the peoples mandate …don’t let it fall off the cliff!

That’s why if you are a Christian conservative living in California I would suggest you move out of that hell hole. Nothing can fix it it is so intertwine with worshiping Satan and communism. Only something traumatic can save it!’
California is done…sorry but there’s no redemption for that state. Once you vote in a communist party it’ll rule over you forever you cannot get rid of it you cannot beat it you cannot out vote it because they will always find those extra votes to win elections to keep their power and their boots on their citizens neck! Elon and some of the other billionaires moved out for a reason and got the hell out of there. Am I wrong?

From the article: starkly militant language...“equip” “alert” “diligence and discernment”

Not surprising, I guess, that a Bay Area publication would consider discernment to be somehow 'militant'.

Churches who value cash over souls. Easter 2020 was our last lockdown Sunday. And our church didn’t accept any of the stringy government funds to stay closed and reach no souls.

I don’t remember the exact pertinent part of the tax code but it basically forbids churches and other religious bodies from taking part in politics if they want to claim tax exempt status. It needs to be placed on the dust heap.

Jack Hibbs, for one, has been willing to lose his tax exempt status to be salt and light to his church and community.

Any pastor that is not willing to preach the truth in all matters is not worthy of his calling.

Not exactly. They just can’t expressly endorse a candidate.. Anything else is fair game. Vote for Trump? No. Vote Christian Values? Ok. . Vote No on Amendment 3? Ok. , etc.

It’s thier “Unofficial Ballot Collection,” that is illegal.

As a church their leadership and/or at least SOMEONE in thier congregation should know Election Ballot laws.

I cannot imagine any responsible church leadership encouraging such a thing as Unofficial Ballot programs.

Yeesh. The church is supposed to be above earthly machinations such as this.
