Shady Dem lawyer behind Steele Dossier looking to overturn Pennsylvania Senate results
NY Post ^ | 11/09/24 | Jon Levine

Posted on 11/09/2024 1:37:54 PM PST by Libloather

A shady Democratic attorney who once loudly attacked President-elect Trump’s refusal to accept the 2020 presidential results is now at the heart of a desperate legal effort to snatch Pennsylvania’s Senate race away from its rightful winner — Republican Dave McCormick, campaign insiders say.

Marc Elias, a longtime Democratic election attorney and dirty trickster, is attempting to force the Pennsylvania Senate race into a recount, even though it was called for McCormick by the Associated Press on Thursday, with even the state’s most liberal news outlets echoing the call since.

Despite the race being called, incumbent Democratic Sen. Bob Casey has refused to concede — blasting out a fundraising email Saturday urging supporters to pony up and make sure “every last vote in this PA Senate race is counted.”

The keystone state requires an automatic recount if the margin of victory is less than 0.5%. With 99% of the ballots counted, McCormick leads Casey by more than 41,000 votes — just above the threshold triggering such a count.

Even if a recount takes place it is unlikely that Casey will be able to find enough votes to change the outcome — but the legal fight could leave state taxpayers on the hook for a seven-figure bill.

The last statewide recount — triggered in 2022 on behalf of McCormick in his primary challenge against Dr. Mehmet Oz — cost the state roughly $1 million, KDKA News reported.

“Election Day has past [sic], but the fight for democracy continues. Here is some of what my firm has been up to: Thursday: Intervened against rightwing lawsuit in Pennsylvania,” Elias said in an X post Saturday.

“The Pennsylvania Senate race is not over,” Elias warned in an X post Thursday. He also pointed to a statement from the Pennsylvania Secretary of State’s office saying...

He should be ground zero for the Trump admin.
It would uncover much of the Deep State involvement since Obama

” .... The Hopewell Fund sponsored both the Voter Participation Center and the Center for Voter Information, the NYT reported, which spent almost $150 million together preceding the 2020 election in “get-out-the-vote” efforts targeting demographics that lean Democratic; the fund also bankrolled a Democrat-aligned legal group, Democracy Docket Legal Fund, led by Democratic Party election lawyer Marc Elias....”

Make the challenger pay if it’s outside the mandatory recount margin.

Shady? Sleazy? Scum?

No, Marc Elias is the kind of “stuff” that real scum scraped off the bottom of its pseudopods as it evolved into land-dwelling animals leaving the “stuff” behind in the primordial ooze.

If you have EVER had reason to hate lawyers, it’s nowhere near enough compared to how much we ALL should hate this miscreant.

Even steadier than you can imagine...

Not only is Marc Elias of Perkins Cole, but so also is Ray Epp’s lawyer, Michael Teter.

I don’t think they are kidding when they report that the 7th floor occupants at the FBI are having a meltdown.

From another thread:

“...And then we have Perkins Coie partner Marc Elias who served as general counsel to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, and who according to the Washington Post hired Fusion GPS on behalf of the DNC and the Hillary campaign to create opposition research that ultimately led to the famously discredited Steele dossier. Not only did Teter’s old firm Perkins Coie have a close relationship with the Democrats and Hillary campaign, it also had a very unusually cozy relationship with the FBI. Congressmen Matt Gaetz and Jim Jordan helped expose the bizarre fact that the FBI built a special workplace within the firm that represented the Hillary campaign and DNC.

And so again we see that Ray Epps’ new lawyer both institutionally and as a matter of professional networks inhabits the dark intersection between the Democrat machine, the Clinton machine, and the deep state national security apparatus. Of all lawyers, why would Ray Epps choose such an individual? Is Epps paying or is he getting representation for free? Perhaps more pointedly, of all clients, why would a David Brock lackey choose Ray Epps?”

Democrats are a threat to democracy when they refuse to accept the election results.

Throw it back in their faces every chance you get.

Once the RATS can get their filthy hands on the ballots and get some idiot to give them an “extension” to “count” them, they can win elections every damn time.

‘Dark Money’ Group Threatens Future Trump Lawyers with Disbarment
Breitbart ^ | 10/11/24 | Joel B. Pollack
Posted on 10/11/2024, 3:52:44 AM by CFW

Project 65, a “dark money” left-wing group that has targeted lawyers that represented former President Donald Trump in 2020, is now warning potential Trump attorneys that they could be disbarred for working for him.

In an ad posted on Instagram, and apparently targeted at lawyers, Project 65 warns: “Don’t let partisan politics endanger your standing with the bar. The Porter Wright Partners face ethics complaints over Trump campaign post-election work. Don’t risk your law license by joining an effort to subvert democracy. We – and the public – are watching.”

Porter Wright is a firm that represented Trump in Pennsylvania in 2020. Its lawyers withdrew from representing Trump mere days after the November election after coming under intense pressure.

The “ethics complaints” referred to in the Project 65 ad were brought in 2022 by Project 65 itself against Ronald Hicks and Carolyn McGee, who were partners at Porter Wright at the time. Both now work for another firm, Nelson Mullins; they withdrew from representing Trump before the first hearing in his election challenges even took place. The Pennsylvania Office of Disciplinary Counsel does not appear to have taken any action against either of them.

You can BET that Elias already knows how he will have a “favorable” Judge presiding over the decision....seems to be the pattern in ALL the Lawfare.

The fact that we may lose potential Senators in states Trump won is maddening. I didn’t think McCormack had a shot but losing Brown and Lake is in my estimation fraud.

Yup.

It makes no sense that a state that went for Trump would put a dem in the Senate.

“The fact that we may lose potential Senators in states Trump won is maddening.”

The maddening part is that we didn’t/won’t truly lose them. If they “win” it’ll be through fraud. No way people voted for Trump but didn’t vote R down ballot.
