Donald Trump chooses Susie Wiles to serve as White House Chief of Staff
Heh, from Cuban’s cordial message after Trump won, I think he knows now he stepped in it.
The fact that she stayed out of the headlines bodes well.
She got him to this point. She’s the right choice.
If she was the one who came up with the McDonald’s thing, she deserves it.
Totally brilliant!
She has to be an improvement over John “Smelly” Kelly.
Mark Kelly, your sabotaging service is no longer needed. Go to bed, and pull the covers over your head now.
Oh, and thanks for your dire warning, Bud. 😆
Oh wait, that would be woman Chief of Staff under a Democrat.
Wait a minute. I thought Trump was sexist.
You must be a youngster. His first broadcast partner was Tom Brookshier.
Until Brookshier said that the Louisville basketball team had a collective I.Q. of about 40, but they can play basketball.
Her body English was interesting. Reluctant to come forward at all and she seemed to be the superior of the man who spoke. But Trump was obviously fond of her and addressed her with her nickname. An older woman with white hair. Like a long-valued assistant.
Choosing her is SO much smarter than following the advice of people he doesn’t know. This will be years of the two of them being able to read each other and know almost unconsciously what the other is thinking. She will know how far he wants her to go on her own and he will know which decisions he can leave to her and which will need more specific instruction.
No ego. Just efficiency to get the job done and on to the next task.
John Madden
That’s my take from afar: Trump could have done much worse.
“ I like that about her. She is humble and does not want to take the spotlight from Trump. These are the type of loyal helpers that do the best work for MAGA.
GOOD CHOICE!”

Yes, she’s humble and avoids the spotlight. In that she’s very much LIKE NIKKI HALEY!
/yes, of course, that’s major league sarcasm
Isn't she kind of a Romneyite? He daughter kind of flamed out in the first Trump administration.

Didn’t realize that was his campaign manager. She really didn’t want to get in front of the microphone. Perhaps a good sign.
But I thought Trump and Trump voters were afraid of strong, intelligent women.
Article from CNBC earlier today…Seems she was well liked.
In a world riven by rivalries, advisers credit Wiles’ ability to gain Trump’s respect and corral big personalities. If chosen, Wiles would become the first female White House chief of staff in history.
“She has commanded a ton of respect amongst the staff, as well as loyalty. She doesn’t play games. And she means what she says: On the campaign, she said we are checking egos at the door and held everyone to it,” said one campaign official, who, like others in this piece, was granted anonymity to speak candidly or because they were not authorized to speak on the record. “The team of rivals concept did not apply here.”
“Susie is as good as they get,” a second Trump campaign official said. “She ran a great campaign and has the respect of all — including Democrats who recognize her talent. She’d make for a great chief of staff and would serve at the president’s pleasure. After all, it is his White House.”
