The Sheriff's Office first received a call around 10:18 p.m. Saturday about an overdue recreational boat that went crabbing off the coast of Bodega Bay.

21-foot white Bayliner
That's a mistake.
LOL...I have a friend who used to work at a marina, and every time the word “Bayliner” was uttered, he would make a motion with his hand going level, left to right, palm down, and then nose it downward, followed by him doing the sign of the cross!
Well, I have always thought that was funny, though there is nothing funny about this.
Perhaps they were attacked by birds.
My only thought when I hear the city Bodega Bay.
Bayliner is ALWAYS a mistake.
But a 21 ft boat with 6 people on board in the Pacific ocean is an even bigger mistake.
[The sea is really cruel if you make a mistake.]
The sea is extraordinarily-unforgiving of error or tragedy.
Or unending arrogance. NEVER name anything “TITAN....” and mess with the ocean, in any form. That’s my $0.02.
Especially around Bodega and Tomales Bays. Very shallow, thus choppy, and windy/cold at times. Worked on my buddy's salmon boat out of Spud Point Marina. Nervous as he[] all the time...Prayers up for those in peril on the sea...
Yikes 😳😳😳
👍
A phrase I sometimes heard used by boaters when I was in that community: “I’d rather see my sister in a whorehouse than my brother on a Bayliner.”
