Trump flips Texas border county with 97% Hispanic population — ending 128-year Democratic streak

President-elect Donald Trump won a historic victory in a border county with a 97% Hispanic population on Tuesday night — ending a Democratic voting streak that began in 1896.

Trump’s take over of the blue bastion was made evident Wednesday morning as he won Starr County with more than 57% of the vote — the first time a Republican has claimed the border community in 128 years.

The outcome reveals the surge in popularity Trump has received from Latino voters, especially among men, with issues around the border and illegal immigration.

Now think about how great it’s going to be after Trump deports the worst of the illegals and flips those who came here legally and maybe some of the others to become MAGA Republicans. Instead of a “great replacement” we will end up with more R voters - it will be the most colossal backfire of all time on the Dems!

I’ve already seen the left go extreme anti Hispanic today online.

An interesting observation with interesting implications

I always contended that the dems would oppose illegal immigration so fast your head would spin if they voted R.

the D campaign was RACIST (and Sexist and anti-Semitic) to its core.
RACIST in taking Latino-American votes for granted “because we give out more free money, more welfare)
RACIST in assuming that Latino=Americans want open borders.

Firstly, most Mexicans (the Latinos are mostly from Mexico where I live) work and most of them work very hard. They may like having a welfare system available but they do not want to use it and most of them are working instead.

Second, most Mexicans probably like an “easy” border, easy to visit both ways, etcetera. This is to be expected because many of them have families and friends in Mexico. However, and I dare say this all based on my limited contacts with just maybe a couple hundred Mexicans and Latinos, they mostly do NOT like an open or erased border. They do not want the Mexican drug gangs taking over inside USA like they have in parts of Mexico. They don’t want the drugs here either, especially the Instant-Kill fentanol. And they don’t like all the Islamic Arab Muslim Fakestinian Iranians flooding into USA unchecked, unvetted, especially since so many of these are openly antiAmerican and anti-Christian (most Mexicans are at least culturally Christian and the majority are religiously Catholic).

Result: the Demo party’s racist attitudes and treatment of Latino/Mexican/Hispanic people ... lost the D party a ton of votes. Mexicans and most people really can identify when they’re being treated in a racist or prejudicial manner. And they DONT like it. Why should they?

Nice to see the county named after my family finally came to its senses.

Golly. You mean to tell me American citizens are sick of being invaded by illegal aliens?

Fill our trade schools with immigrants that want to be certified craftsmen once they are properly vetted.

By a wide majority, the Hispanic culture is made up of folks who love God, love their family, and have a very strong work ethic. The Trump vision for growth and opportunity resonates with them. They will be excellent MAGA partners going forward!

Sobering.
That the Starr County democrat party had absolute control of the county for over 120 years.
