While the above analysis predicts a Trump victory, we must caveat it with this statement. While there's a strong correlation between right/wrong track polls and election outcomes, a strong correlation alone does not statistically mean that an election outcome can be caused by it. In other words, correlation does not equate to causation.
Other factors (likeability, age, Trump's policy accomplishments balanced against his loose rhetoric, Harris's never-ending flip-flops, Harris's screaming personality expressing faux rage at anything Trump) are all in the stew.

Oddly enough, as in 2022, the trend of polls showing the nation on the wrong track does not indicate the incumbent party will be voted out.
In 2022, the GOPe did not have a Contract With America or really anything else to motivate people to vote Republican. Also, the red states got redder because of conservatives moving from NY and CA to areas like TX and FL.
I listened to Baris and Barnes about the election and polling. Rich Baris said he’s used to shy Trump voters but he’s polled more than a few terrified Trump voters this year. They are terrified they could be put on a list and have the FBI investigate. He said this is America and after what has happened with republicans being jailed and arrested while lefties get nothing, he understands.
He also tweeted today, Democrats have TDS. And Republicans have PTSD after 2020 and 2022.
HALF of those abortion only voters are beyond pregnancy stage.
