We keep hearing that the race will be close. I think it will be like Patton’s Third Army racing across France in 1944.
Historians have often noted the tendency of generals to embark on a new war with assumptions more pertinent to the last one. ... Fighting the last war is always a dangerous temptation.

In essence, the Dems are waging the same campaign now that they waged in 2016, in 2020, and beyond. Counting once again on their huge advantages in money (almost 3 to 1) and near total control of the media, they believe—or at least have acted as if they believe—that they can play the same game this time and win. They have not yet noticed—or at least have not yet effectively recalibrated their campaign to account for the fact—that many things “on the ground” have changed radically.
The Dems are fighting the last war. Trump is not.
For one thing, the day-to-day running of the Trump campaign, overseen from on high by Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, is superb. Both are geniuses. Unlike in 2016 or 2020, this year the Trump juggernaut is a well-oiled, multi-chambered, highly adaptive machine.

I understand that the Democrats will endeavor to cheat. But so far, Trump’s team has been markedly successful in heading off some of the more obvious feints. …

People are waking up. Trump is supported by some of the most vibrant and talented people in public life: his running mate J. D. Vance, who is himself an extraordinary political talent, as well as RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and business leaders like Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Bill Ackman. ...

We must deny the media its big pool of money. Cable subscriptions. Newspaper purchases. Hollywood shows.
I canceled my Cable subscription literally the day after the 2020 election. And what did it for me was the moment that Fox News called Arizona for Biden.
Now that you mention Hollywood remember the writers strike? They wanted to keep AI out.
Well the actors are next.
A small team can now produce entire movies on their computers.
Why have all these overpaid actors?
Vance has been a wonderful surprise to me.
If we can win this I like his chances for two terms after that.
He is brilliant, feisty when necessary, charming when appropriate and rock solid on all key issues.
We often criticize President Trump for past bad personnel choices—but this one amazing key choice can make up for all the previous mistakes.
Did that a good while ago.
Wife thinks i read online too much.
Pointed out not wasting eime with packaged propaganda and needing to filter it. I spned my morning with a variety of websites, not reading the NYT or other liberal rags.
One of these days, whenever I move into a residence that is free of trees like I got around my place now, I'm gonna get Starlink and ditch Xfinity completely.
Over on the democrat message boards they’re predicting a landslide for Harris.
The polls showing a horserace are all bogus.
Early Republican voters are crossing over and voting for Harris in droves.
They’re going to flip FL, TX, OH, IA, AK, etc.
Cruz & Scott are done & Tester is going to win.
The sky is the limit in blue bubble world.
I’m not buying what they’re selling, but one thing is for sure after election day:
A huge swath of the electorate are going to be very disappointed and pissed about the information they’ve been consuming.
That belief goes against almost every metric I’ve seen in the last week. Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt.

Don't count on it
Remember the great expectations of a RED WAVE in 2022?
Democrat cheating turned that into a barely discernable ripple.
Anyone who thinks this election will be honest and fair and the victor will be the candidate who gets the most actual legal votes hasn't been paying attention
True.
Reading the posts by hardcore democrat partisans is an eye-opening experience.
I’m sure they say the same about us, but it’s impossible for us to avoid democrat propaganda from the MSM, while they can live their whole existence in a blue cocoon without any exposure to different thinking & ideas.
Excellent article, and quite comforting.
We canceled all TV and now just have internet. Bothered me at first, but now I subscribe to anything that interests me and the sum total is so much less than what we used to pay for cable. Strongly recommend Chinese and Korean dramas. Though you’re getting the first inklings of liberalness, there’s still the strongest swath of conservative morals that you haven’t seen since the 50’s. It’s just that subtitles can be a little daunting for elderly eyes. Closest you get to socialism/communism is the frequently repeated adage that all work is valuable and that cleaners et al are to be respected.

I’m not as confident as he is. I know there are some things that suggest Trump will win like voter registrations. Dan Bongino had a data analytics guy on last week who thought things are looking good. Some historically reliable polls point to a Trump win.
But the Dems are very good at what they do and have a massive spending edge. The media nonstop brainwashing still works with many people. Add vote fraud to that.
Twitter (now X) is important. If Harris wins, they’ll go after Elon Musk. They’ll force him to sell X. And X will return to Twitter version 1.0.
I had a multi-state drive planned for this week, But I’ve decided to put it off. I don’t know what to expect, but I can easily see agitators flooding the interstates in protest, blocking traffic for... who knows how long?
Consider that this is intended to set the stage for cheating allegations and to fire up their brown shirts for looting and rioting. The propaganda press, who now lie without concealment or remorse, will be outraged and fan the flames. If it comes down to a close race, Harris will not cert the election. My thoughts, we will see.
