City of Milwaukee early voting numbers lag behind other cities; That's under a third of the city's total voters in 2020.

State data shows, as of Wednesday, just over 71,000 people have voted early in the city of Milwaukee. That's under a third of the city's total voters in 2020.

MILWAUKEE — There is less than a week until polls close and Wisconsin's largest voting block is lagging when it comes to early voting numbers.

State data shows that as of Wednesday, just over 71,000 people have voted early in the city of Milwaukee.

That's under a third of the city's total voters in 2020, around 247,000.

Compare that to nearby Brookfield in Waukesha County, which has already seen over half of their 2020 voters vote early so far.

"When you hear that Milwaukee is being outpaced by other cities and counties, what's your reaction?" TMJ4's Mariam Mackar asked Milwaukee County Democratic Party Chair, Christine Sinicke.

"It's concerning," Sinicke answered. "From day one we have been very concerned about the Black and Brown vote, so we need to really concentrate and make sure that we are in those communities working to get them to the polls."

For Milwaukee County Republican Chair, Hilario Deleon, a slower showing in the Democratic city this far is a good sign for the GOP.

"I think it shows and demonstrates that the sugar-high the Democrat party had for Kamala Harris is finally worn off," Deleon told Mackar.

For context, in 2020 Biden won 78% of Milwaukee's votes. Trump, received around 20%. It was the city of Milwaukee's votes being tallied that tipped the scales toward Biden winning the state by only 20,000 ballots.

Wisconsin does not break down early voting by party so I am flying blind there.

“From day one we have been very concerned about the Black and Brown vote,”

Could you imagine President Trump saying, “From day one we have been very concerned about the white vote” yet the left is never held accountable.

What’s the rush? They have, what, 5 days until after the election to get a ballot in by mail?

The “black and brown vote”? I get sick of this neo-Marxist collectivism which divides in order to conquer. It’s unAmerican.

I have to assume most Milwaukee voters identify as Dem.

Milwaukee has had three socialist mayors in their history, so I’d say that’s a safe bet.

various reports around the nation like this report seem to indicate a decide lack of enthusiasm for kamala, perhaps meaning that lots of Dems are simply choosing to sit out the Presidential election all together, thus potentially having a massive negative impact on the down ballots for the Dems ...

Plus the Dems will be bleeding more of the black votes to Trump. By what % remains to be seen.

Good news only if you do not count the massive ballot dumps that will happen in the early morning hours of Nov 5.

How do we know this is true?

How do we know certain votes cast haven’t just been...deleted?

For context, in 2020 Biden won 78% of Milwaukee’s votes.

Add that: Milwaukee had a 110% registered voter turn out in 2020. 2024 will likely see well over that percentage of registered voter turn out. Which will coincide with massive ballot dumps.

Milwaukee has had three socialist mayors in their history.

All the others have been Democrats for the past 120 years.

If a city has more ballots/votes than registered voters, then it is plainly obvious there is fraud. In such an event, the entire city’s votes should be disqualified and not even considered in a federal election.

“Your city cheated itself out of having a voice in the federal election. Take the matter and your anger to your county supervisor of elections. They stole your vote this time around.”

If the city needs to run another election for local and state races, let it be run at a later date. Federal elections are on the first Tuesday in November only.

In a sane world.

Yes, but who does the disqualification? The state Rs would have nothing to do with that - sitting their hands is the preferred R position.

Besides, that is after the fact, and all ballots must be counted. So nothing is done.

Also both Milwaukee and Dane counties would have all their votes thrown out following the procedure you mentioned. Never Happen.
