Will there be room for the stranded Boeing passengers if there’s an emergency evacuation?

I think NASA just wants out of the manned spaceflight business and it leave to entrepreneurs they can oversee/blame.

I'd like for them to get more involved in DEI issues and fight white privilege. This is what NASA was started for in the first place.

Kill NASA’s reputation? Now that’s rich. Shuttle’s last mission was July 2011. What has NASA done since. Stranded a couple of folks on the ISS due to Boeing’s deficient capsule. Lots of plans. Elon has done way more in the past 13 years.

Maybe the NASA Consortium should sell it to Elon Musk?

Yes.
Last Dragon went with only 2 passengers instead of the usual 4, leaving room for the Boeing 2 on the return journey.

Nobody had died on the Space Shuttle. Until a bunch did.
Then it was discovered just how much bad design and faulty testing had been covered up.
