There’s a new kind of gender gap in the 2024 election: Women are voting early in huge numbers, far outpacing men. ***
Across battlegrounds, there is a 10-point gender gap in early voting so far: Women account for roughly 55 percent of the early vote, while men are around 45 percent, according to a POLITICO analysis of early vote data in several key states. The implications for next week’s election results are unclear; among registered Republicans, women are voting early more than men, too. But the high female turnout is encouraging to Democratic strategists, who expected that a surge in Republican turnout would result in more gender parity among early voters. It’s impossible to know who these women are voting for, including whether Democrats are winning over unaffiliated or moderate Republican women disillusioned with former President Donald Trump. But the gender gap has been one of the defining features of the 2024 campaign, and Harris allies see the lack of a surge of male voters as an encouraging sign. *** Democrats’ burgeoning optimism over female turnout comes as Harris zeroes in on moderate suburban women — and particularly non-college educated, white women — in the final days of the campaign, aiming to drive them to the polls with the enthusiasm they showed in the midterm elections, right after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

In Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia, there is at least a 10-point gap between men and women in the early vote, according to POLITICO’s analysis and data from the University of Florida’s United States Election Project. Similar gender data is not available for other battlegrounds, including Arizona, Wisconsin and Nevada.***

Politico is a propaganda organ for the Democrats. However, sometimes even a propagandist tells the truth.
Vote early, vote often.
Yeah, whatever. THE ONLY chance they hav3 is massive fraud, and they know it.
Polutico “women” include lots of males. Case closed.
Wait i thought all these early voting Republicans were voting for harris anyway lol
Next gaslight please
Democracy is 51% women and 49% men voting on the fate of men.
This article is—in the words of Joe Biden—garbage.
She actually looks good in that picture in a dress.
Cgbg, pick up the white courtesy phone.
According to exit polling, white women voted 55-43 for Trump in 2020.
Hopefully, this is merely a sign that Democrat males are very unenthusiastic about Kamala and are the ones not turning out, throwing the gender gap off. Dems vote early more than Republicans even still in most states, so low Dem male turnout would result in a bigger gender gap. But we can’t just assume this. We have to do whatever we can to get as many Trump voters to the polls as possible.
Mark Halperin was saying that the Trump campaign is currently scrambling to hire people for a ground game in Virginia, New Mexico, New Hampshire, and Minnesota. So, folks, drop a few bucks for the cause at: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/
And make sure we counter the Dems’ efforts to turn out left-wing females by finding a way to volunteer at:
https://trumpforce47.com/ (Official Trump campaign; in swing states door knock, deliver signs, throw neighborhood parties, poll watch; outside of swing states make phone calls; apparently planning on surging volunteers into the swing states right before election day)
https://earlyvoteaction.com/ (Scott Presler’s group; call, send texts, write and mail postcards to get out the vote from anywhere or work the ground game in person in PA)
https://www.tpaction.com/ (Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point Action; door knock, register voters, get voters to the polls, focusing currently on WI and AZ; will pay for hotel rooms for out-of-state volunteers working in WI and AZ; full-time jobs available in AZ, WI, and MI)
https://www.10xvotes.com/ (Using their database find and contact 10 people you know who are low-propensity Republican voters in Michigan)
https://www.pachase.com/ (Door knock in Pennsylvania; paid jobs available)

That makes sense -- the early voting is going R, and that's grounds for optimism? Partisan media shillin'.
I told my Great Grandad that allowing women to vote might cause problems.
” among registered Republicans, women are voting early more than men, too. .... It’s impossible to know who these women are voting for, including whether Democrats are winning over unaffiliated or moderate Republican women”
In other words we’ll just make crap up to look good and grasp at any straws possible...
Is Tim wearing a tampon
My dog is howling at this article—it is that bad.
Lol.
Megan Messerly was the editor of her college newspaper. She went to UC Berkeley. Good to see the Politico searching far and wide to find objective political reporters who fit their liberal ideology!
Bad meaning untrue? What is the real ratio then?
It is the classic if you ask the wrong question article then you get really dumb answers.
They might as well be discussing tea prices in China—totally irrelevant to anything.
