Ms. Hemingway could have stopped after "Jake Tapper Lies" and the headline would still be correct. I don't think I can recall anything he has reported on in which he told the truth.

Anyway, this article is worth the read even though it makes you mad all over again at what Clinton, the Democrats, the DOJ/FBI, and the media put this nation through during the 4 years of Trump's Presidency. And they continue to this day.

“Intel chiefs presented Trump with claims of Russian efforts to compromise him” had been published just two days prior, followed up by BuzzFeed publishing the actual document claiming widespread collusion between Trump and Russia. That document — which nine months later was revealed to have been secretly bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton and the Democrat National Committee — included salacious lies about Trump supposedly paying prostitutes to urinate on a bed that the Obamas had slept in during a visit to a fancy Moscow hotel.

Tapper and intel thugs lied? Oh how can it be? I'm getting the vapors just thinking about it... falling fainting...

I did think he played the offended man-of-integrity role fairly well when JD pressed him on this matter a bit. He was almost convincing, which simply means he is an exceptionally good liar. Nevertheless, it is interesting to see how they squirm when their motives are questioned (as they do so often to others).

No. You were reporting on anonymous leaks about an “investigation.” You knew it was BS and at a minimum you knew you were being used and played. But you were happy to play along because it gave you an opportunity to trash Trump on a daily basis.

At several different points in that broadcast as the night, he used the word “we” or “us” to describe Hillary Clinton’s fading fortunes in his conversations with Wolf Blitzer — as in, “What path do we still have for victory here?”

After the second or third time he spoke like this, Blitzer was so surprised and embarrassed that he actually turned his head and looked at the camera — to check and see if Tapper had the audacity to speak like that while they were broadcasting live.

Takeaway from the article:

Jake Tapper wasn’t “covering” an FBI investigation into Russia collusion. He was willing to work with them in an information operation alleging that the 2016 election was stolen. If I knew it was all a big scam by Jan. 12, 2017, he knew even earlier.

Hemingway does a great job reviewing the entire ridiculous but nefarious Russia!Russia!Russia!Gate. Worth the read.

That group claimed that the author of the dossier was Christopher Steele, who they pitched to the press as some kind of former British super spy. He turned out to be something of a politically motivated joke who had outsourced the collection of information to a guy who seemed to brainstorm outlandish ideas for the dossier with his drinking buddies...

When Smith published what it actually was, everyone outside of DC and New York could see it was hilariously juvenile. It was so stupid that you had to be an idiot to believe it.

At the time, the people at 4Chan were taking credit for the "juvenile" stories in the dossier.
