That’s pretty good! I once had an interesting (and polite) conversation with a British royalist here on Free Republic. The Brit said that the monarchy is a solid tourist attraction. Plus the monarch is a last check on tyranny.
Okay, I’ll accept the tourist thing. But I wish I would have asked the Brit this: What would it take for the monarch use his bully pulpit to intervene?
The UK is awash with illegals, including many dangerous Muslims. And anyone who objects will end up in cell next to Tommy Robinson. Isn’t that enough?
