I am curious of why all 4 were taken to a medical facility for further evaluation. Not standard procedure.

Just saw they were taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola which is an excellent hospital. Hope is it is just being over cautious.

I suspect it had to do with the duration of the mission. The reentry and splashdown went great.

9 hours ago - Crew-8 was originally planned to return to Earth in early August after a nominal 180-day mission, but the mission was extended several times. It was extended initially as NASA investigated the CFT situation, and extended again to provide the lifeboat function.

It probably has to do with the giant trail of debris from the Chinese rocket malfunction. That's been a factor in the launch schedules as well. The CCP, not surprisingly, is a major menace to space exploration.

They’ve been in space for a very long time which has a negative effect on the body. They can’t even walk.

The lady astronaut had some health issues I can’t remember what it was, but she definitely needed to come home.

They all myst be just thrilled to be home and tto see their loved ones. I’m happy for them as well as relieved that they weren’t lost in space!!
