LANSING — A federal judge on Tuesday threw out a Republican lawsuit challenging Michigan’s voter rolls, ruling the Republican plaintiffs failed to provide evidence the state was violating federal law and lacked legal standing to sue.
The suit from the Republican National Committee and other GOP groups alleged Democratic Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson was failing to maintain voter registration lists as required under the National Voter Registration Act, or NVRA.
The complaint cited U.S. Census and state data indicating Michigan has more registered voters than voting-age adults. But the state says it is planning to cancel nearly 600,000 registrations as soon as federal law allows.
Federal law requires Benson to make a "reasonable effort" to remove the names of ineligible voters, and the GOP lawsuit makes no "plausible" claim that she violated that statute, District Judge Jane Beckering wrote in an acerbic ruling.
“The quality of the pleading does not permit the Court to infer more than a mere possibility of misconduct,” Beckering concluded, saying the GOP complaint “alleged—but it has not shown—that they are entitled to relief.”
The RNC had argued Michigan’s alleged failure to maintain its voter rolls “harms the electoral process, heightens the risk of electoral fraud, and undermines public confidence in elections.”

Apparently, Beckering is a far-left nutter who scoffs at anyone questioning "Dirty Josey" Benson's Commie election-rigging activities.
In a perfect example of how the Michigan Democrats and their RINO stooges in the Michigan Republican Party work together, hand-in-glove, Beckering ascended to the federal court with the retirement of Smirking Chimp stooge-"judge" Janet T. Neff, who took senior status on March 1, 2021 at 76 years old - well beyond the usual age of 70 that federal judges take senior status.
We can only assume that RINO Neff waited till the installation of Biden's junta after January 2021 to safely pass the federal bench seat to her Democrat pals in March.
It looks like Neff wanted to keep the seat from being filled by the rude peasant Trump, an act that most of her elite Shrub gang friends, including Dubya himself, would approve of.

Less than two weeks before the "election" in Michigan - no time to correct the problem.
I'll examine the case timeline, but I can guarantee you that Beckering sat on it as long as she could, just so that there would be no remedy.

I know the purist jurists will scoff at me for this, but I really don’t give a rip.

Criticizing the judge is fine. But it also reads like our lawyers can’t write a coherent pleading.

The fact that Dumbocrats are often trying to steal elections is a reflection not just how they think of Republicans, but how they think of their own voters. They simply don’t trust their OWN voters (or democracy in general), or else they would see no need to cheat; they would just make their case and hope for the best.

I remember that. The legal work was apparently quite sloppy. We may very well have gone through the last 4 years of inflation, wars and other mayhem just because some idiots couldn’t spell.
