ATLANTA — A Fulton County judge ruled Monday afternoon an employee at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office did not act in good faith.

The employee testified that he would use what he called the “Merchant Rule,” a tactic he used to delay open records requested by criminal defense Ashleigh Merchant.

Monday’s hearing stems from a lawsuit in which Merchant accuses the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office of violating the state’s Open Records Act.

Merchant claims the District Attorney’s office refused to provide documents related to her client, Michael Roman, who is a defendant in the election interference case against former President Donald Trump and other defendants.

Some of the documents they wanted included employee nondisclosure agreements, emails, and how the District Attorney’s office spent money.

While the judge has ruled in favor of the plaintiff, she’s still considering the penalty for the District Attorney’s Office.

Fani Willis' office does not believe they are required to abide by laws controlling discovery and court procedures. She has gotten away with actions such as this too many times. Hopefully, she will soon get her comeuppance.

Very blatant (racial and religious!) prejudice AGAINST “selected political opponents” of this guy’s political favorites.

Again. But you see, when One is of the favored race, the favored class, the favored religion, the favored sex, and selected for DIE choices, then all subsequent decisions stem from those DIE symptoms.

They even called it the “Merchant rule” in that any discovery she filed was delayed or ignored for as long as possible.

The attorneys and Fani Willis should be sanctioned for their actions since testimony showed it was basically approved policy.

Ashleigh Merchant is a brilliant and incredibly diligent lawyer.

She has destroyed the career of the entitled witch, Fat Fanny Willis.

I’d love to see her as state AG one day. Or even Secretary of State.

At least handcuff and chain the guilty government employee in a public area and let us throw rotten fruits and vegetables on them for several months 24/7. If they are hungry, they can eat eh fruits and vegetables.

Willis is amazing in her brazen disregard for the law. Absolute and complete racial entitlement.

She needs to go to jail.

She needs to be disbarred, fined, all previous convictions vacated & retried, pay restitution to all she wronged, and then, sent to jail.

I think the site I copied from is missing a page from the Young thug trial court Order, but you get the gist of it.

I believe everyone of those gang members in the YoungThug trial are guilty as hell of crimes, including probably murder. However, the Willis DA’s office has been so corrupt and incompetent in the case, I hope there is either a mistrial or all are found not-guilty. ‘

If we can’t have fair, Constitutional, and lawful prosecutions or trials for the guilty, then how can we expect fair and lawful prosecutions or trials for the innocent?

It will get even more interesting if the subject employee is questioned about how they made their decision not to provide the documents. If the employee doesn’t want to go to jail he/she just might flip on Fanny and if the employee says, “Fanny told me to delay, delay, delay providing the documents.” Fanny gonna be in much trouble.
