They do have the right to remain silent. But they don’t have freedom of expression or even thought, apparently.

And We only have the right against self incrimination.
Testimony can and is compelled all the time, even if only conservative enemies of the people.

As testimony can be compelled in the US under certain circumstances. But a wife can’t be compelled to testify against her husband in the UK like the US, correct?

I freely admit that the majority of my understanding of British law comes from my addiction to British murder mysteries that my wife and I consume voraciously. Lol. So much better than most American dreck with their casts of supermodels and lousy actors.
