The father of an allegedly kidnapped 14-year-old girl is in jail in Lonoke County, Arkansas, after a shooting that left the reported kidnapper dead. The father said he found the man with his daughter, and a confrontation broke out as he tried to rescue her.
Lonoke County Sheriff John Staley said in a Facebook post that his deputies received a call on October 8 about a missing 14-year-old girl. As the deputies were en route to the home of the missing girl, they received a call regarding a shooting.
Sheriff’s office officials said they received the call of the missing child at 1:12 Tuesday morning, KARK reported. While on their way to the incident, deputies learned that the girl’s father, Aaron Spencer, found the girl in a car allegedly driven by Michael Fosler.
Officials say there was an altercation between the men, leading to Fosler being shot and killed. Fosler reportedly died at the scene.

She explained that earlier this year, her daughter was “groomed and raped” by a 67-year-old man. That man was arrested and charged but is out on a $50,000 bond awaiting trial in December. It is not clear if this is the same man involved in Tuesday’s alleged kidnapping of the little girl.
The mother says her husband “went blindly searching for our 14-year-old.”
“By the grace of God, he passed the predator’s vehicle on the road and followed them, trying to get him to pull over with our child,” she explained. “My husband was able to catch up to him and retrieve our child. In the process, he was attacked and did what he needed to protect himself and our daughter.”

Yeah, right, she was a slut AND NUTS!
Some one call Governor Sarah’s office to have a pardon issued and the Governor freedom medal issued to this man.
I think that there is more to this story than meets the eye. Apparently the girl snuck out of her bed room to meet the old guy. She wasn’t kidnapped against her will. The old man was waiting with his car. There had to be a plan and coordination. The crux of the issue is who was grooming who. History shows that 14 year old girls can be very devious. There isn’t any need to rush to judgement and declare that the old man was a perv who deserved death
Jail would be a small price to pay!
I think that is close to what happened, but hard to defend the old guy as being seduced by a 14-year-old girl.
I know of a similar (unresolved) situation, and yes, the kidnapper/rapist should be declared outlaw (meaning they are outside the protection of the law and can be killed by anyone). At least that is how it would be in a civilized society.
Not guilty!
The only issue is that they don’t tell us the shot grouping...
“Dating” teenage girls is best left to teenage boys.
Ya know, I watch a lot of crime stories. I think its allowed to speculate about a strange incident without being called a perv. Something about this story doesn’t add up is all I’m saying.
GIVE HIM A MEDAL
You made the statement “14yo girls can be devious” as if that excuses any man from committing predatory behavior on underage girls. Not only is that suspect thing to say, it’s suspect mindset to have in the first place. It denotes a pervy frickin way of thinking and it’s shocking to say the least.
Your link (?) didn’t post.
Murder is wrong. Killing is sometimes necessary. Key is to know the difference.
Sorry. Doesn’t meet the smell test.
It “that is what happened,” a decent man would stand outside the car and call the police or child protective services to come pick up a minor. He would not drive anywhere whatsoever with a minor in his car at night.
Then watch your language on here.
Fathers shooting kidnappers should be given an award and a check for $10,000.
What language?
There is a really interesting documentary on Hulu called Little Miss Innocent. To make a long story short, Little Miss Innocent poisoned her ex boyfriend’s mother to get revenge. During the series she and other players in the drama are interviewed about what happened. For a full season, Little Miss declares her innocence. She is very convincing. And blames others. Granted the girl was in her 20s, not 14, but in the last episode her lies collapse, she’s convicted and goes to jail. Up until the end I thought she was innocent.
