Oh those horrible 50s when crime was low, the American dream was alive, marriages stayed intact, music was better, women not only cooked good dinners but could afford the food, we ate dinner as a family together, gas was well within our budget, car body designs were beautiful, outrageously so, women dressed and acted like ladies, men were gentlemen, schools actually taught kids, kids were polite, teachers were role models and we did look up to them, no terrorism that I remember, we mostly all went to church and believed in God, we could because most of us didn’t work Sunday, the President, even if you didn’t agree with him, (notice I said ‘him’) was a respectable guy who loved America and followed the Constitution.
