For much of the Biden administration’s first three years in office, migration surged at the Mexican border. Administration officials frequently argued that the problem was beyond their control...

Then, starting in December, when the issue threatened President Biden’s re-election, he began a crackdown. The traffic of people crossing the border plummeted. Today, it remains near the lowest point since 2020 and not so different from levels during parts of the Trump and Obama administrations. This week, the Biden administration imposed tough new rules....

Border crossings reached record levels this past winter, with almost 250,000 migrant arrests in December alone.

it pushed Mexico to clamp down on the number of migrants headed to the southern border...

Democrats in Congress were trying to pass an immigration bill to slow the number of arrivals...Republicans...voted against the measure for political reasons

After that, Biden made a second major decision. He issued an executive order that barred migrants from asylum if they crossed illegally,...Before, when migrants got to the border, U.S. officials asked if they feared returning home. Government officials believed many were saying yes regardless of whether it was true

Of course, given that the US taxpayers are being fleeced supporting the flying-in under cover of night to airports throughout the US, the “numbers” may appear down. Also, the US government in its own traitorous way supplies the illegal alien invaders with a “free” phone an APP so that can readily access taxpayer-provided money and so forth. What absolute BS! Meanwhile, the US government neglects assistance to American Citizens suffering from a recent hurricane.

Pretty much a total misrepresentation of what actually happened.

The NYT on illegal immigration. ‘Nough said.

But it did say, , migration surged...then, starting in December, when the issue threatened President Biden’s re-election, he began a crackdown.

Meaning, and election-driven change from the norm, with this immigration being driven by quest for power via importing voters from countries used to socialism/dependence on gov., who largely trade spiritual and family values for monies. Bad trade.

But it is misleading people to think they haven’t actually continued the illegal immigration apace, from flying criminals from hellholes to American cities to funding those flowing across the border from the start of their journey to their year time here.

All good propaganda contains a generous component of truth.

All good propaganda contains a generous component of truth.

Indeed, though most MSM would have left out "starting in December, when the issue threatened President Biden’s re-election, he began a crackdown" which is a give-away that this change in policy is due to political considerations, vs. a correction of sorts based upon consistent principal.

That’s what makes it acceptable for the true believers: It’s just a short-term trimming of the sails, but for those in the middle who don’t like the immigration, it gives them a reason to take the issue off the table.
