I live in a very liberal area in the liberal city of Austin (Travis Heights). I don't think that all the liberals are bad. Perhaps 40% are misinformed and misguided. The remainder are irredeemable communists, authoritarians, totalitarians.
He should spend every day in the affected area, rallying private donations and doing what a real leader should be doing in a national disaster.
His flyover photo defined Bush’s 2nd term, these things have political angles like it or not, and who is it that said “never let a crisis go to waste”?
