At best, there will be a stalemate,and Z and Putin were/are not looking for that kind of "solution". So, the war will continue at lower levels of destruction and deaths.

Russia CANNOT afford a long-term war, while Ukraine is definitely better off with the aid of NATO and the U.S. (even if deficit spending is the only way for aid).

Wishing and hoping doesn't solve wars or any related issues. Russia has been at it going on 3 years, and they can't win and will never win. Ukraine is still standing and will stand when the war is done. Russia will be hurting a lot more than Ukraine at the end, but, this is a war that never should have started. Biden gave unmistakable signs for Putin to go and invade, and Putin took advantage of those signals. Biden and Putin; brothers in crime and brothers in wars. Sorry to bust your bubbles.
