Back in my day a vaccine was what it was supposed to be. One shot of polio vaccine did the trick, no booster shots. Same with small pox. How can they call this stuff a vaccine when you have to take 3 - 4 boosters and a yearly shot? And for the yearly flu and covid shots, how do they know in advance how a new strain will develop? Guess work at best. I have not had a flu shot in over 40 years, and after the last one I got a bad case, was down for a week. Never had the flu since.

Every time I have taken a flu shot, I have gotten a bad case of the flu. If I don’t take the shot, I don’t get sick.

A while back I heard that the flu shot would be combined with a covid shot.

Nothing doing. I am on blood pressure meds and will not take the chance with the clot shot.

Yep, one-and-done for smallpox, polio, TB, and I don't know what all. When I was a kid, they used to give really large-dosage tetanus shots that were supposed to provide lifetime protection, too. I did let the doctor talk me into a tetanus booster 8 or 10 years ago, though.

No flu shots or covid shots yet for me, and no intention of getting any. Same with the shots for pneumonia, RSV, shingles, and anything else that's being pushed. My immune system does pretty well on its own.

First shot- narcotics to get you hooked.
If the first shot don’t kill you, we have more boosters.
If that don’t get you, we have new ‘strains’ to put out there.

A long time ago I had the flu for 2 weeks. Was bad.
Never even thought to go a doctor. Come thru great.

I believe in herd immunity.
I did get pneumonia shots about 4 years ago.
