My stupid ex-son-in-law has a Masters Degree in Psychology and is driving a fork lift in a factory.

Knowing how to drive a fork lift in a factory is more valuable than what MOST people with Master's Degrees in Psychology do. It is actually an employable skillset!

“The employer has the burden of proof for a skills test “

All, except one, of my job interviews required testing.

The only one that didn’t was GE. When they called to offer me the position, I asked, “Don’t I need to take some skills tests?”. She said no, and that if I didn’t perform to the level I had stated in my application, they would let me go.

So great! Probably the best company I’ve ever worked for. No time sheets/cards; you only reported “exceptions” via phone. Generous cash bonuses if you performed exceptionally on a project.

Can’t blame employers for wanting company doers instead of community agitators.
