SAN FRANCISCO - A man and woman have been convicted of first-degree murder in the 2017 killing of a 71-year-old photographer on Twin Peaks, one of San Francisco's most popular tourist attractions.
Fantasy Decuir and Lamonte Mims, both 27, were found guilty Friday of shooting Edward French while robbing him of his camera at the sight-seeing area known for its views of San Francisco.

Accountable? We’ll see. What kind of sentence do these cold blooded murderers get?
And how much time will they serve.
We have the death penalty in California but our Governor somehow declared a “moratorium” on it.

That was a nice camera at that time , not worth killing someone for but that’s me .
Seven years , the California legal system sucks.
Excellent true crime book . Two cops kidnapped , one killed by a pair of thugs.
The way the criminals manipulate the legal system is outrageous. There’s a movie based on the book, I have not seen it.

I remember this case very well. We were still living in San Francisco at the time. I used to do exactly as Mr. French did, wander the city doing photography, one of my hobbies. I too had a new camera in 2017.
