They got all the dabs they need, there is no point to them anymore.

Bingo. Their business model was never to sell data to DNA sample submitters. Their business model was to sell submitters' DNA and RNA data to korporations and governments. In addition to their own collection efforts, the korporations and government collected data from COVID-1984 swabs.

Once the korporations and governments had all the dabs they needed, '23 and me' had no more customers.

By law, almost all babies already have genetic testing done on them at time of birth. Some states now quietly keep this DNA data indefinitely. It’s kept very much on the down low. Oh, the stories they could tell. Somewhere around 5% of baby DNA tests do not match the claimed biological father’s DNA. The biological reason a man has a plunger shape on the end of their DNA uploader is to first plunge out the men that recently went before him.
